I've been riding mtn bikes on The North Shore of Massachusetts and in New England since 1990. Mostly technical trails. Some XC racing. Bike mechanic since 1994. ohforbikesake LLC
The Forbidden Druid reminds me of that old joke about vegans. How do you know if someone has a Forbidden Druid? They'll tell you. *I'm jealous and they are sweet looking and I want one too. Rip it up! Merry Christmas!
Thank you for reviews like this! I am constantly spreading the gospel of mountain biking and articles like this help me get more people into biking at a much lower price point. Brad, I'm really interested in your fork & shock settings on your Scout. I "think" I have my Scout setup well but I'd love to know if I am within the ball park of your settings. Thank you, Tom
IMO while it is clearly possible to ride like that with 130mm, he just made it very clear to me as to why enduro bikes exist. That was very ragged compared to his usual videos. Some very talented riding though! I wonder if the ups were timed in enduro as well, if this is the type of bikes they would have settled on?
Yeah!, very stoked on getting bike of the day! If anyone has any questions post them up. I will be cooking up something even more ambitious / crazy in the coming weeks so keep an eye on my Instagram @earthbound_bikes if you're interested. Thanks guys
It takes 16 hours for their machine to make a single set of lugs. Their margins are definitely thin. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re losing money on every frame at their current scale.
