ELLIOTT HEAP - Trail Bike Madness - Vital RAW 10

Vital RAW

Kinda makes you re-think how much travel you actually need on your mountain bike! Elliott Heap shreds his 14kg Nukeproof Reactor. That's 14kg with full DH tires and 130mm front and rear travel, originally setup for dual slalom races. We knew the tracks would be tech and gnarly and Elliott being Elliott, loves a good challenge. Some of the tracks were heavily storm-damaged (we didn't realize until we turned up), and were pretty much unrideable. But Ell pointed the 130mm down the hill and somehow made it work. The first day we shot, Ell had a big OTB and sliced his hand open badly, forcing a hospital visit. But we got there in the end. Shot in gloomy North Wales on some of the shortest dankest days of the year.
