So when the braking bumps spread out for 32" do they become moto whoops for smaller wheeled bikes?

4/28/2026 6:47am Somehow the frame looks visually nicer with 170mm of suspension, but when you see $9k for a new 25kg carbon ebike, it just doesn't feel like you are getting your money's worth. (I know spesh have amazing customer care etc)

4/27/2026 6:31am I got a good ride in on the Tacky Chan Gravity Pro. These finally are the radials for me. They roll fast, brake well, dig into loose dirt, and don't squirm on hardpack or smashing berms. In the new Grav Pro casing, the radial effect seems less than when I tried the Albert or MM, but I think that's for the better. They feel kinda slightly more muted than a normal casing most of the time, but if you hit roots they conform really well rather than pinging off. Really pushing hard into berms or loose corners, they deform and...

4/24/2026 7:19am Who’s ready for airport beers! Wheels up this Saturday. Seoul for 5 days and then the mtn for 5 days. Stoked to see some randoms from around the world screaming shirtless and planting some soju pancakes around the village.

4/21/2026 3:41pm What PSI? I run 28-30psi in the rear never felt a squirm on either radial casing but they fold over suddenly if I run less. If you want a super damped feeling tire the new gravity pros feel very close to a DH, or just get some Contis. I always found super gravity of the old to be a springy...

4/20/2026 1:39pm I just rode the new one in some mixed PNW conditions and it was very good. This will be my go to Schwalbe rear moving forward.

4/16/2026 3:36pm After the maxxterra update might as well run a DHR2? Enduro said Dissector takes a 22% wattage hit on rolling resistance with the new compound.

4/16/2026 10:49am Got the new tires. These things feel burly af. The gravity pro casing is noticeably more firm in hand than the regular radial gravity casing. The new TC pattern looks great too. Looking forward to shredding these.

4/14/2026 8:29am The updates look nice. I'm going to stick with MM/TC with the new casings and compound on the DH oriented bikes. I'll probably revisit dual TC on the trail bike later down the line.

4/14/2026 8:20am You're missing the point. For a two pound penalty you can have double the range. You can set your avinox to a low eco mode and have the same gentle assistance. The first time you try and go on a ride with your full power ebike friends on your TQ you'll understand that it just makes so much more sense to have a bike that can do both

4/14/2026 8:19am Categorizing full power ebike riders as "low effort" doesn't reflect reality. The best dh riders in my area ("retired" moto racers) go hard on the ups and downs. They absolutely charge, and want a 45-50 pound bike anyways for the dh. They also kill it on the climbs

4/9/2026 2:59pm Another review I watched said it's fixed on the M2S, and the M2 is quieter than M1 but not as quiet as the M2S.

4/9/2026 2:22pm Using WD40 for lube or what? Haven't had that experience myself. I went though I think 2 XT cassettes/sprockets, and a couple chains over 5 years on my Ep8 bike, nothing that crazy. Modern drivetrains are more than capable of handling these torque levels.

4/5/2026 1:11pm You can buy trail radials right now, they're definitely slower though.. Dual Alberts?

4/2/2026 10:10pm Huge cushcore fan and user here. Absolutely must have a Cushcore pro in rear wheels otherwise I will destroy them. The tire support for cornering is a nice benefit. I think I like the damped feel too, but that's definitely not the main reason I run them. I used to go through multiple rear wheels a year before Cushcore, which got really old. As others have mentioned, when I take a used Cushcore Pro insert out of my rear tire, it's completely knackered, covered in knife slits from the rim, which leads me to believe it's really doing it's job...

3/27/2026 10:15am Unfortunately I'm an idiot, so I'll answer your question even if it is sarcastic. I found a known value that's easy to measure, the rear brake rotor. I set it to 203mm (as mentioned in a bike check from my memory) 16.2cm = 6.377 inch, rounded up however the app used rounds things and also not a perfect angle. Closest match for phone size would be a Iphone 16/17 pro max at 16.3 cm or a google pixel 9/10 at 6.3 inches. I'm going to go with the iphone 16/17 pro max. I should touch grass. I'm also either going...
