3/19/2026 8:37am Going with that it's the same. X2 was such an improvement over Grip2, I didn't really notice any change when I swapped in glidecore on my 36.

3/18/2026 11:04am I have a 180v2 on my S3 Druidv2, I tried a 210v3 but it was no bueno. (not enough insertion) The 180 is plenty however.

As a fellow V2 Druid owner, it does not seem that the 2.5 Tacky Chan is as tall as a Albert. Mounted to a 30mm internal RF Era. I'd run it in the dry, but in the mud it could be problematic. Conversely, my wife runs a 25mm internal rim in the rear of her V2 Druid and her 2.5" Albert never had clearance issues.

I had to do it twice, once to correct for mullet wheel size, and again because Shimano sent me an RMA motor with EU firmware. 🤮Otherwise it won't net you much gains. You can cheat the wheelsize for more mph but the juice isn't...
