4/9/2026 9:54am Well said. I think it is irresponsible of both dji and brands to say "just be responsible". It's not merely a matter of having the power and choosing not to use it. It's that when its available to everyone at scale, it will cause problems. 1500 watts man...

4/7/2026 8:42am This forum is for discussing anything related to the 2027 RockShox Zeb fork (B1 models). Feel free to ask questions , leave helpful tips for setup/service, or provide notes about how the fork has worked for you. RockShox has completely overhauled its Zeb fork for model year 2027. They took what they learned developing the latest Boxxer and applied many of the same technologies and tuning ideologies to their single-crown gravity fork. Everything is new with the Zeb, from the chassis to the damper and air spring, to the external adjustments. Below is a deep dive into all the changes...

4/7/2026 7:37am don’t think the link works. Love hunt/privateer ethos. But latest bike was so close but so far. I think they tried to do one thing too much and the design sacrifice was the hump which became a non starter for so many.

4/6/2026 9:43am I’m digging the Forekaster/Ikon combo a lot. I prefer the Ikon to the Rekon Race or regular Rekon for that matter. Aspen also tops the RR for me as the RR pushes in anything but the hardest, buffest terrain.

4/6/2026 8:40am Just one short ride in. Removed ground control + rimpact out front. Swapped with Eliminator no insert. Was 20g heavier compared previous tire set up. As expected, rolling resistance is one notch slower climbing but it then pays dividends on the way back down. Noticeable increase in grip and more defined cornering edge vs ground controls. I feel like this...

4/3/2026 7:22am I’ve been on ground controls front and rear but just mounted the new eliminator up front for a bit more front end grip.

4/2/2026 4:21pm I'm right there with ya on the Nashville chicken. My guilty pleasure. I've been a long time Forekaster + Rekon lover but this year I decided to switch it up a bit and going a similar route. Magnotal soft front and Magnotal grip rear. First impressions have been really positive. They roll like a rekon race and feel grippier than a Forekaster. Plus they come in tanwall which is nice. Looking forward to the mountains thawing so I can really give them a go on proper terrain.

4/1/2026 10:27pm No, definitely not just tuning via the base valve. But it is modified from stock for all the options being tested. The stock base valve setup on the Bomber CR/Fox Van is quite stiff and uses belleville washers. All three tuning options (Avalanche Racing, Fluid Focus, and Shockcraft) remove the belleville washers and convert the base valve to a more traditional shim stack. All three use different base valve tunes, and Avalanche uses a different needle for the bleed (LSC clicker) as well. Fluid Focus and Shockcraft both use a different main piston, while Avalanche uses the stock main piston...

4/1/2026 4:22pm Thank you! Do you mean cooking BBQ or eating? Because we've heard the "Nashville 20" - as in you gain 20 pounds when you first move here - is a thing. You can't throw a rock here without hitting a BBQ, hot chicken, burger, or taco place. On the topic of tires... the trails here skew more towards XC with some flow bits thrown in. I had Dissectors on my Stumpjumper front and rear, but even that tread is a bit too much for around here. Swapped out to an Ikon rear and Forekaster front yesterday, which was an improvement...

3/31/2026 4:06pm I actually left Maxxis in February 🥲 so I'm not tied into the day-to-day anymore. I would expect them fairly soon though as they were ordered months ago.
