I don't think I have any ambitions toward "improving" the state of the industry, but I'd sure be giving it a boost on the retail side! Some of the ideas above like making sure every kid on the block has a bike are my style, too. I would probably be donating a lot to charity, so anything named "bikes for kids" would be a great recipient.

It's only telemetry if it comes from the telemetry region of France; otherwise it's just sparkling data acquisition. But actually: If the data being collected aren't also being transmitted, it isn't telemetry.

cocaine and hook...... oh mtb related. Sorry Start my own WCDH team for sure, nice house in Queenstown and Few chalets in Europe and just people can stay, train and progress on my dime. Good question actually. I'd just travel and ride weird places like Bali and Japan etc.

Personally I don’t think full runs has made for better dh finals viewing. I’d much rather the focus be on having the best tracks. Including very long tracks where elevation and track design make it possible. Then simply film the best sections (biggest features and most technical sections where line choice and variance in speed is common plus the finish line). Personally I have found the new finals format to be more boring than the old one. Semis/lcq becomes a necessary evil. But offers a lot of points and has zero coverage. And let’s face it by race day there...

Reasons why Red Bull was better: 1) It was free and easy to view. 2) Because it was free more people watched it. 3) We saw more racing. Whilst the addition of Junior Finals coverage is a positive, the reduction to a 10 woman/30 man finals means we are now paying less race runs than ever before. 4) Red Bull's graphics were better. The virtual straight graphic was useful. The wiggly line graphic is pointless. 5) Some of the WBD camera position/type choices are terrible. The overhead drone shots at Ft William were like watching Google Maps. 6) Current coverage...

I don't see why people are getting worked up about wether or not there should be e-bike racing or not, they could be on gravel bikes and no one would know with the coverage they are giving us.

I was born in Poland, but I grew up in California....spent 40 years there. Now I'm back in Poland...as luck would have it....in Bielsko-Biała. For the past 3 years I've been riding most of the trails that'll be used at the event. Prior to that, my resume includes mostly Skegg's Point and Braille in the Santa Cruz Mountains, a run down Mt. On the EWS "complaint", a top 20 EWS female rider would stomp a fitness mud hole in most people. If an elite athlete has no time for water between climbs, that's not trivial. That is not weakness. And the "season" isn't sneaking up on anybody. Promoter crammed too much of one thing in and not enough of another.

2 day racing at venues that have enough quality raceworthy trails (such as maydena last year), more new venues somewhere other than Europe and more European venues nowhere near a bike park. Guys/gals redlining to the top of the hill is the opposite of what I want to see. What was so cool about ews is that it provided a form of racing that exemplified what I enjoyed about mtb (making it to the top and blasting down cool/challenging trails) at a high level and amazing locations anyone could aspire too. You're showing quite a bit of blindness I think. Palazarri is from Sardinia, pretty hard to drive through the Mediterranean sea to Fort William. And if you take the boat, it's probably a 30-40hr trip in total! Plenty of people ride WC tracks before/after the races there, But doing so 7 days out from the race, when the course is marked and taped etc.. is pretty unheard of. So Davide was right to be pi**ed.
