1/24/2022 5:53am Nice spec. Just got a 2020 SJ Evo myself. Just wondering where did you get that downtube protection from? Was it custom made?

1/21/2022 1:55pm Uhhh, the general population should choose get the vaccine (healthy lifestyle of not) to stop their elderly relatives with the risky conditions you describe from dying when you pass it on to them. (June 2020); https://www.ageuk.org.uk/discover/2020/06/coronavirus-risk-for-older-people-updated/
FWIW, UK adults are 84% double vaccinated (64% boosted) and I've not heard of anyone's limbs falling off/multiplying in their sleep. The UK was hit hard by Covid prior to vaccines - around 1 in 12 over 80s in the UK had already died of Covid by January 2021 (about 1 months after vaccines began rolling out here). One year into the...

1/21/2022 8:48am Ah, yeah, I wasn't clear enough, I was aiming exclusively at preventing infection. I think I mentioned here before that they are still very effective against serious complications and hospitalisations even with Omicron.

1/21/2022 7:51am Vaccines are still very much effective in the Omicron variant to prevente severe disease and death - Check this from WHO I'm with you on the topic of vaccines side effects and in regard to bizutchs post. Case reports mean nothing in epidemiology. I too know dozens if not hundreds of people who are double our triple vaccinated and had...

1/21/2022 7:01am Nah, Omicron plays a role but vaccination plays a bigger role since the vaccines had already proven their efficacy before Omicron was the predominant variant...

1/21/2022 4:25am Are you dumb? If you look on your own link to the statistics of Italy you will see that you are having 100-200k daily cases since December and 200-350 daily deaths related to that number of cases. One year ago (Nov.-Dec. 2020) before the vaccination you had 20-35k daily cases and 550-800 daily deaths related to that cases. And this...

1/21/2022 4:11am Do you possess the ability to read? There are countless studies vowing for the effectivity of the vaccine, some of which have been cited in this same thread. But here you come with your baseless claims with no data or anything to prove them, other than having listened to them from Joe Rogan, Alex Jones or some top secret dude on Facebook.

1/21/2022 4:01am Reading this while taking a shit after a LONG day building pumptracks in florida. Why was it so long? Millennial anti-intellectual un vaccinated pseudo libertarian co-workers are all fuvking useless with Sars Cov19, all the un-boosted members of our team are all down for the count right now. As a former mid-20’s libertarian douche i am sympathetic, but BROSEPHS: science is real. Yes “big pharma” is stacking benjamins, but science is reall! As is my fatigue for taking up the slack for people who are science-skeptical.

1/21/2022 4:00am Yes, it’s really unfortunate that this happened to him. He only gets brought up every single day in the pink site. Anecdotes about a mountain biker who had a decent following and as a result we all know his name don’t stand up to the mountains of evidence that you are significantly more at risk for severe long term symptoms from covid infection than you are from getting the vaccine.

1/20/2022 7:15am I get that point, but the scientific literature is quite clear on the fact that a Covid infection is more likely to have a negative impact on performance than the vaccine. Especially when thinking about long-Covid. If I was a pro racer I would probably have tried to time as much of my vaccinations with the start of the off-season to minimise the effect on my training. However with the Booster requirements that seems a little tricky to get just right. Anyhow, wouldn't most pro racers and their teams already be vaccinated to be able to get around most travel...

It has been long since I have seen a more racist, oblivious to scientific facts, opinionated and downright dumb (hereby referring to your apalling “shot for shot” stupidity, you are the perfect example as to why guns should not be for everybody) in this site. 1/20/2022 5:59am Waiting with the tested vaccine and risking infection with a virus, that can easily destroy your lungs, among other things? I mean it does make sense to wait, but only if you're taking ALL precautions to prevent infection as well. Traveling around the world is hardly that :/ UAE Emirates team was, apparently, vaccinated in january 2021. You know, the team of the two time Tour de France winner
https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/uae-team-emirates-given-covid-19-vacci… https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/uae-team-emirates-taking-no-chances-wi… I'm not sure they would gain much by claiming this and faking it behind the scenes to be honest. Even more so by taking the Sinopharm vaccine (which...

1/20/2022 5:46am I’d love to see your data because the actual studies say the exact opposite. There are very few potential serious reactions to the vaccines compared to the multitude of long term complications that can result from contracting the disease. Speaking specifically about heart issues there is a greater chance that you end up with myocarditis from covid infection than from the vaccine: https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg25133462-800-myocarditis-is-more… https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-021-01630-0

1/20/2022 1:21am America, land of the free, where it is your right to burden the population as a whole with the consequence of your bonkers views on medical science. If I was a racer I'd be much more worried about the long term effects of getting a respiratory illness than the fact that someone's mum's cousin's friend had a reaction to the vaccine
