5/30/2025 6:36am i just want to make one last comment re: deleting pics, community etc then i'll be quiet. over the last few years, i've become very aware of how much of a privilege it is to be a part of a community that is supported by some of the best brands in our game. but the key word here is community...YOU all are the community. without you and your sleuthing, your knowledge, your stoke for the sport and its equipment, or your informed opinions, vital wouldn't be very special. with that said, if all vital does is bow down to brands...

5/30/2025 6:35am I find it really amusing this team uses Aliexpress special EZMTB bleeding kit instead of a SRAM official one:

5/30/2025 3:12am it’s a bit of “we know it when we see it” combined with “just trust us” and a sprinkle of “none of your business” …I feel anyone in their position—especially when touting how pro they’re making it all—is obligated to clear it the fuck up!

5/30/2025 3:10am I think the pad is there since it's assumed riders will be clipping it as they try to stay tight through the chicane. A single pole would likely get kicked out repeatedly. I'm not saying it's possible in this section, but since the pole is outside the pad, wouldn't it be legal to jump over the pad instead of zig-zagging around it?

5/24/2025 3:22am Wild that could happen again, and so soon. Bold. Gotta think he consulted the rule book himself and decided it was going to hold. Icky. Totally bike racing. Imagine getting publicly called out as a cheater by TBrosnan, the gentleman racer…wow!

5/12/2025 3:25am So stoked to see a proper enduro race and good coverage of it! Warning, mini essay on the state of Enduro ahead! I know the that downhill is more spectacular, and it’s certainly easier to cover, but there is something about proper enduro that really draws me in. One aspect is definitely that it’s more relatable — it’s the kind of riding and racing that I do. I can easily imagine just how fried they feel after 4 big days, or a after completing a long taxing stage where you’re just hanging on. But even moreso, it’s the narrative of...

5/5/2025 7:32am If they let someone like Sam Hill enter at the cost of an upcoming rider fighting for a spot then I would definitely have an issue with that, but otherwise I wouldn't have a problem with granting an extra entry for certain "legends" being able to turn up - it would bring more attention to the race and I feel like those people have more than proven they wouldn't be showing up just to make up the numbers. Who's going to complain if Sam Hill was given a spot - look how much attention he got at hardline! I certainly...

5/5/2025 7:06am I feel Frameworks, the team and company, are doing quite well at the moment. Do some math on how many frames they have sold, at a premium price, and it's a pretty big number in terms of cash flow for a very small company. They don't even pay to paint the frames, raw is popular! -They don't have issues with Asian tariffs like most of the bike industry currently does (carbon rear end from TW being the exception). -The team title sponsor (5DEV) is in the same position. -The Frameworks brand is currently known world wide with very little (if...

4/16/2025 9:33am I clicked on the new SC ebike article on PB. Didn’t really read it, but one of the first lines was like “the bullit has a cult following for balancing travel with weight” Is that actually a real thing? I fortunately don’t get cornered in a room with ebike people, but when I do, they all gush about how frickin awesome having a super heavy bike is for descending. So what is it? A good balance, or the heavier the better?? Is that just SC sending some random script over to copy and paste into the article? Idk man I’m...

4/3/2025 5:46am Protesting the podium is not going to work. You know what will? Protest the race. Would be amazing to have everyone qualify for DH finals and the. All go off course in the first 10 seconds and get DQed. No one gains a points advantage, WB gets screwed as they have nothing to broadcast.
