UCI just announced in the Rider Communications that the road gap is closed for the Junior women in DH this weekend, B-line only. Its open for Elite M and W and junior men. i thought this was 2025? Why not let the girls decide for them selves whether they want to take the B-line or not.

What a bunch of hot garbage. The b-line is there for a reason, but let the riders make the choice. Jeez.

Racers have crashed on short stems because they haven't used them with long chainstays. If you feel more comfortable on a 42,5mm stem then stick with that. I've tested -10, 10, 17 and 20mm in the last decade and I've settled on 20mm. My bike has 474mm chainstays and I have loads of front end grip.

Mondraker Factory Racing went from riding Shimano brakes/drivetrain in 2024, to SRAM brakes/drivetrain in 2025. In the latest B Practice Podcast we asked Dak Norton about how it's been going from Shimano XTR/Saint to SRAM Mavens. It's interesting to hear how even a rider of his caliber has still had to adjust to the power/modulation of Mavens. ** Hope I'm not disrupting the conversation above too much Smile

My speculation is that the lower cover is some sort of brake sensor, given that all 3 of the forks are Flight Attendant. And maybe the funky plastic cover on the arch houses more sensors/processors/transmitters. Brake hose clamp looks different too, to go with the reshaped lowers.

Okay big conspiracy time. The podium fork has been made for a long time. Fox was waiting for the traditional design of their forks to plateau in innovation and sales before “being the first”. It weighs so much on purpose because their next gen of the fork (which is already made and designed) will be bigger news than the second coming of Jesus. Then after that it will be even bigger with slight updates to the damper that work for USD forks even better, and EVEN LESS WEIGHT. But if they released the fork as perfect on day 1, what...

Agreed, adding volume to reduce the ramp up. I was 180-185psi ish. No spacers or 1 spacer. About 180lb when I had that fork. Luca being lighter weight but 10x faster could easy be 180-220psi. (Edit: from PB “ Luca is running 200 psi in his Boxxer fork with zero tokens in it, and the rebound is set to 10 clicks from the closed position.”) That fork has crazy progression but very soft initial stroke because large neg chamber. I tried to make the neg chamber smaller which let me use less air to get sag and that reduced the...

Sam Gale...if you read this. No joke. We lost an incredible human being & a joyous downhiller to a similar injury at the Snowshoe NORBA National. He get an infection from a football sized gape in the back of his thigh/butt from a stump. Took 6 months of reinfection for it to get into his heart & take him from us far too soon. Jack Daub you are missed my friend! ❤️
