I'm in the process of buying a (new to me) used bike. The deciding factors were all the little things. Frame adjustability (wheel size, geo, travel), post insertion depth (210 dropper instead of my current 180 limit), bolt on external routing... Doesn't hurt that it's something I've lusted after for years, German aluminium.

Straight seat tube, what looks like a 205 trunnion shock, UDH, 180? Boxxer... Doesn't look very DH specific to me. It reminds me of the Marin proto.

we've got 500 reach 470 chainstays 1300 wheelbase 63.5° head angle -5 BB drop i do have an eccentric bottom bracket and eccentric dropouts so i can easily adjust bb drop and chainstay length but those numbers are about right for now and yeah the ride is very planted and central 🤘

Honestly that looks like a stickered over existing frame. or something they bought off the assembly line. with the sensus decals we all wonder Zink....is it just a stickered over old Hyper of his?

Chassis isn't class leading to be honest, lowers and bushings are not optimised for 170-180mm travel on 29 wheels, I know they wouldn't be able to get it close to 2000g if they used beefier lowers, but there is that...

raw from the last downhill rockies at purgatory (durango). race was sept 9/10, raw just came through, but so rad. that track is so rad even 23 years (i think?) after it was first ridden. pretty sure this photo is from 2000 on the same track. one of the first times i ever tried to take pics at a mountain bike race. minnaar on global if you really wanna go down the rabbit hole, durango world cup 2001 from alpha project "movie" that i made. it's pretty rad to see the same cliff hucks and sections from the downhill rockies...

Some unsolicited internet life advice. Either do your own uni work or leave and focus on a real life job. You could also save some coin and learn use the AI software that the paper writing service likely uses. At least that way you’d learn some ‘AI input engineering’.

This is a very subjective question (obviously) that mostly boils down to what bike the rider has now and what the goals are (captain obvious). I think the answer is more clear and potentially more universal on the emtb side then it is on the pedal bike side. I think that reality is clear to the people designing and making the bikes that you'll have a much harder time getting people to replace their mtb's then you will their emtb's. As for pedal bikes... or mountain bikes as we used to call them... For me however, I have a 2019...
