Definitely! Can see a lot of riders and teams just walking away. The way the events are setting up now… some not making the main event, and making it harder and harder to do so…. Can’t be cheap get riders flown in from around the world and not making it even into the semifinals…… and then to turn round and say ‘I just wasn’t feeling it this weekend’ The boss is probably like ‘how about my shoe in your ass… you feel that!?’ plus, there’s a lot of riders that just seem pretty vocal/salty… you are being paid to ride...

I’m really stoked to be a pretty strong support of the team. Wyn has been a good friend of mine for a while now and being able to support him also just feels good. Pinky and Craik are doing so damn good and yes, that new dh bike, it goes! I've heard the rumors also. Just hoping they are only that.

I am pretty sure that not even e-bikers watch this series! :D Otherwise, I believe e-bike contest need to be organised properly by somebody in the now, so they spark interest. Over here, we mostly have some half-assed efforts that mainly run on the same courses like the marathons and XC races they are held together with. But this last weekend we had another kind of beast: a three day stage race with hard and technical climbing and really really good downhills in epic scenery, a prologue as a seeding race and then six special stages. Absolutely. The downtube on my new 5010 is prob bigger than on my EXe. Pretty hard to imagine SC engaging in the silliness people are theorizing. The execution of the in frame storage is magnificent, btw. First frame with that feature and it’s pretty awesome.

I think that was more of a Kenda problem and not as much not feeling it. I haven't seen anyone stay upright on those tires in 15 years. Although once he was on Vee Rubber and the podium again, he was technically........ re-tired

do people really look at this and think "yea that looks great"? might just be me but the colors don't mesh well, all the gold shit is gaudy as fuck and the grey (?) fork looks weirdly out of place

8/13/2023 12:11pm I got that too. Where ever he appeard on video recently, he always looked to me like he's REALLY not feeling it anymore. But then again, five years ago we said the same thing about Aaron Gwin - just for him to make a comeback and go from barely competitive to regular podium contender within a year.

Conti's are best on a 25mm rim (ala EX471). They round out and the corner knobs have a bit more flex at the limit.
