What do you mean by ‘the rumours… will not be cleared’? I find it baffling that the general public have become judge, jury and executioner. As someone who lived with this kind of allegation hanging over me for over a year until the police dropped the investigation and any charges due to ‘a significant lack of evidence’ it ended up costing me my job, and very nearly my marriage and life… what happened to the world in which we live in being innocent until proven otherwise? Has any official police investigation ever taken place? Anyway, back to the rumours -...

He's spot on regarding anti-rise. I've gone from lower value to higher value frames recently, and if you are consistently riding steep tech where you're on the brakes then its a big improvement. It allows the front end to stay lighter so you can pick it up over obstacles, it doesn't force me to over-spring the fork as much (better grip), and I don't have to run a stupid high bar setup to be comfortable. When you are charging at higher speeds and then go to grab that first application of braking, the bike just settles in to its travel...

Each case is different, but lately I find it much more common to have loose bushings vs tight. I've had several customers' forks from a variety of major brands develop bushing play within a few rides. Its like the previous gen of forks were too tight, people complained/developed solutions (like burnishing), and manufacturers made a tolerance adjustment for the current...
Not that I would ever presume to know better, but the Raw footage of Jackson looks like his bars are a bit wide for his frame. His arms look almost fully extended in normal riding stance, with no extra slack to adjust body position on the bike. Perhaps as a more compact rider that's just what works for him, and...

My racing hot take for the hour: I dont like doubling up Enduro and DH on the same weekend. Too much content to watch. If they want to use the same venu do them on back to back weekends. Then we get more racing spread out throughout the year and multi discipline athletes can race both. In other news, cold seems like a weird reason for a belt to break. Especially since its not that cold out and most other applications those things are used for are operating in much worse temp ranges.

We really, really need to bring the hammer down on this IP theft. Not only are they stealing ideas and patents from people who have spent good r&d money on developing their ideas, they haven't done the r&d, so there's far less understanding of the decisions that led to the original design. It's wholly unsafe and not to be mistaken for simply reverse engineering existing components. I don't understand why they can't just make new stuff???

These are an EXACT knock-off of Hope Tech2 EVO brakes. You shouldn't be promoting this brand, as this is blatant intellectual property theft. Buy the real thing from the folks still making it inhouse in the UK.

A big difference is moto guys are trained for running 20-30 minutes. Pro DH is a 3-4 minute drag race in comparison. The mental and physical output required for each activity is entirely different. DH pros are unique in their ability to get as close to 100% as possible. You can only maintain that level for a short duration. If...

If you don't still have this on DVD, are you really even a mountain biker? Earthed 4 is sacred. It set the absolute tone of what the aggressive DH/FR scene felt like at the time. It was so affirming and inspiring, it was instant stoke. I bought nearly every record that had each song from the soundtrack. I still listen to most of them these days, although Too Short isn't on the playlist very often. But 'Blow the Whistle' was a classic example of Rankin knowing how to capture the energy he was feeling at the event and translate it...

It's just one thing, but man, the music, the music, man... Love you forever, Alex! Also, super proud to have all of these on DVD when they came out. It was quite a thing for me back then.

This is what my friends told me, so I got a manitou. But for my riding, I never was able to get it to feel right. Back on fox now. Maybe there was a small psi change I needed to make in the IRT or main and it would have been there, but I never found it.

This is a perfect example for people looking to put together and/or finance small regional teams. Demonstrates that corporate sponsorship allocations happen early fall. If you're young & looking for support for your racing, submissions for 2025 should have been submitted & follow up phone calls completed by now. Dorval/Commencal is actually doing right by fans & riders to announce this now. Demonstrates to racers coming up that you need to have finances & in order by now to be remotely successful. They recognized early on financial limitations were an issue, didn't drag it out & will give their riders...
