That is the WP version of the new Onyx 38 damper with the Cone Valve. DVO NZ reached out after I commented on it as it turns out they had been testing it for a few months already. I've had it all in bits and will run it on the Dyno tomorrow but so far- -Yes it is an actual Cone Valve design, but on the base valve instead of the mid valve. Bruni has always been generally unlikable for me. He has always seem spoiled and entitled. He has moments where he see like a fun decent human but then he always finds a way to remind me why I don't like him. I remember there was talk about all the riders just not taking a run to prove a point and it was said someone would not follow. Bruni is the one who would take the run. He would say look at all the points a just gained like that would make it ok.

Loic came off as spoiled, entitled, and afraid of the crop of new riders starting to hit WC races. He sounds like he wants to limit the talent pool because it makes it easier for him to stay on top. He already got beat by 2 first year elite riders and multiple riders with number plates greater than 30. He wants to limit that in the future. I do think he and a lot of the riders / team managers are towing the line of "ESO wants the sport to succeed" because of fear of more problems.

And there are plenty of others, that stayed low pivot and work just as well? Maybe every suspension layout has pros and cons and there isn't one clearly dominating the others? Blasphemy I know.
