It doesn't look too bad to me. If a racer is worried about sliding off track there he can always check up a bit, either way a crash would be on him and not the turn.

The split times are all funky with who is green and which position they were at the time. Looks like Finn was super speed to split 2. Also interesting to see how far off the Juniors are this time compared to TTs in the past.

The course in Val di Sole is very much worth seeing in person, more so than the Les Gets track. I would also venture to say the crowds will be smaller which is a bonus in my eyes but your views might differ.

Is it an engineering challenge to pull off mucho stack for XL and higher sizes? I'm 6"1" and running 30mm of spaces and a 35mm rise bar on a bike with same stack as this ones XL (642).

It just sucks to get cheated out of all the reach with a tower of spacers.

What was dangerous about the DH course? They could have just taped around the final wood feature given the conditions, otherwise I can't think of anything.

This allows you to see how each individual bike responds to the change equipped as it would be delivered. Everyone already knows that grippier tires will offer more grip and faster rolling tires will roll faster. I think there are certainly applications where a control tire provides better...more

Yeah, I appreciate how this test was done. The purpose was to see if lockouts helped or hurt on different bikes, not ‘which design climbs fastest’

That's why they show open vs closed of each bike which gives relative efficiency for each system... duh. I actually prefer this now over the "PB Method"

How bad does that suck to be Frixtalon qualifying 16th.
He qualifies two spots faster than GM, but GM gets to start 26 minutes later in the day.
For those who aren't familiar with the significance, in Elite or Pro racing, the later in the day on a dry mountain, the drier the course is....more

I like seeing properly dry and loose rocky trails like the NORBA days, reminds me of Mammoth. I hope they tape the woods off wider and put poles every now and then in the lines that Neko rode; seemed incredibly one lined with lots of pointing and shooting. ... more »

How are they going to bring DH, XC, and the EWS to the same venue? The EWS calendar is all about remote or underutilized locations that change frequently. They have crazy turnover in venues on purpose, and often in locations with little to no uplift...more

They are proposing the first and/or second DH race to be held in February as test event/s that are invite only. They also have conflicting info about the first round of the DH WC, saying April/May in one place and June in another.
Why is the company that’s in charge of broadcasting starting next year including the rule change finalization date (September 2022) in their “Timeline & Milestones” column? I have a feeling it’s because the UCI will have major changes to the rules that will greatly strengthen the influence of the broadcaster and/or limit the ability of personal and smaller filters at events while also making the series more catered to the top 20-40 racers.
What is the World Gravity Alliance?
