I met Cam whilst riding in the last 12 months and find it hard to believe all the negative takes on him, he was by far the most down to earth, open with information and genuinely interested pro i have ever met; to myself and the guys i was riding with.. which is a stark contrast to some of the other industry big dogs that i have met that have massive media presences but are way less accomplished

just got audio message from jack, who asa was chatting to at the finish line. off camera asa was red flagged in the woods, so he stopped. no apparent reason for the red flag. no re-run for asa as per officials. assumed b/c tv/race schedule is on the line. maybe there's an explanation from the officials or something at some point, but that's what we have so far. sven just added "he was running a gopro, so we'll see on footage what happened."

I think Gwin is a great comparison, if Ronan stays on top of this hot streak. We all knew Yeti Gwin was going to keep improving, and we all thought he might be able to pull off a win, but when he switched to Trek in 2011 he won four out of seven World Cup rounds. It was an enormous level-up in one year. Blew all our doors off. And he probably would have won Fort Bill if he hadn't crashed up top.

My riding bud has been running a Foes Mixer for years now & has been talking about buying something new. This signing practically guarantees he'll be forced to buy another out of sheer hope of a return to glory. I still love the lines of the DHS. Only red bike I ever drooled over.

I want to see footage from sections we haven't seen at a race that we get all of the time. I also want to see the new sections. I'd also like to see the sections that are causing the most trouble or where the "race is won." If WB/Discovery doesn't want to make it available in a broadcast, then make it available to download. The cameras are in place, run them.

The fact that you think crabs is 70ft makes it very hard to take anything else you say seriously.

I don't know shit about numbers but, I'm really impressed so far. I build mine out of some mt5 calipers and SLX levers, to keep it relatively low cost. First impressions where like "holly f**k!! ". This is the thing - in this case more coverage of each run does not mean the coverage is better overall. Now, instead of having all of the key features and most technical sections with each run being action packed, there are all of the more boring bits thrown in as well which I think makes each run more less interesting...

I think one thing that has worked against them is that they have made a lot of noise and claims about how they are improving things and growing the sport. They have then fallen short on promises made on numerous occasions. From what I remember RB never got into the habit of blowing their own trumpet, instead they just got on with providing great coverage of WC events, alongside bringing ground breaking events such as Rampage and Hardline. Don't talk the talk if you can't (or won't) walk the walk.

I would bet higher bars moved my cog forwards. Because I moved myself forwards (because of confidence). And vice versa with lower bars. That's where my skiing analogy comes in as it is counter intuitive at first. We riders are not solid objects attached to bars and pedals and turned around when one of them moves, we are dynamic, as has been mentioned.
