Crankworx isn't their employer though. Their employer is their sponsors. Crankworx is the competition they enter, and the platform granted to them to show their skills, market themselves as athletes & ambassadors, and ultimately prove their dollar value to said sponsors.

Some of the photos make it look like a roughed in semi-legal skidder lol. Something only the locals would know about. I bet it's gonna be sweet.

I'm not sure an Mtb forum is really the best venue to argue about rape conviction rates to be honest.

Ah, would that be the story where the black team manager lost his job in the fight against racism?

From PB-"I just found out about the allegations. And I have to say, I’m not shocked. There was always something about him that rubbed me the wrong way, even when he was seeing some success, I wasn’t stoked." You see this is the level of informed discourse we should aspire to on here.

no, though Nic and Kailey came from KHS, ARI is the re-brand of Fezzari bikes. The ARI team has nothing to do with KHS, they have a different team this season. This is fully ARI bikes based (including team management etc.)

The Vojo article has been updated to include a response from Thibaut.. https://www.vojomag.com/news/thibaut-daprela-sexprime-on-a-clairement-e… Vojo managed today to get in direct contact with Thibaut Dapréla who spoke publicly about his double departure in just a few months, first from the Commençal team, then from Canyon CLLCTV. Here are the pilot's reactions. Before we begin, let’s provide some context. This Thursday, March 14, Thibaut Dapréla announced on his social networks his separation, by mutual agreement, from the Canyon CLLCTV team where he had only just arrived (at the beginning of January) from the Commencal Muc-Off team where he had been since his...

There are going to be no winners from this situation whatever the outcome. There are less enlightened corners of the internet where this can be 'debated'. Probably best we leave it be for now I think.

re: seatpost sizes - actually, yes we do need the stiffness of the larger 34.9 tube. Not really a "performance" thing, just a reliability of dropper posts thing. I think we blew past the optimum design specs for a 31.6mm tube when droppers reached about 170mm travel so making posts longer than that is a huge challenge if you only have 31.6mm to play with!

bman33 Liked a comment about Press Release DT Swiss Introduces All-New Complite Spokes

So, this promotion really says nothing...sort of like a politician. "The most durable DT Swiss spoke in its weight category to date.." What is the "category'? DH, XC, 'enduro'....? What is the targeted application? Are they 2.0, 1.8 or different? I have DT on most of my bikes since forever, but this is a pretty lame press release.

adamdigby Added a comment about product review Maven Ultimate A1 Expert Kit

2/26/2024 7:05pm
I received my large box today with the rotors and everything. I don’t have anything but a DH frame and shock right now to test these but they feel heavy and more sturdy than my Spire’s Code brakes which I heavily dislike the weak power of even on 220 f/r for DH racing application. I hope the Maven offers the power every review has claimed. The Van Halen caliper looks cool, I don’t get the hate considering they’re bound to be dirty and hard to see within the first 30 seconds of riding.

After a long-awaited journey of tech forum spy photo enhancing and humorous bleed port etching, the new MAVEN brakes from SRAM are finally here! The purpose of the MAVEN brakes is not only to bring more braking power to bikes but also to create the most usable power possible out of a braking system. Figuring out how much power is actually usable on a bike is a painstaking process, and SRAM has done their homework extensively over the last few years to learn what that limit is. Is there such a thing as too much braking power? SRAM MAVEN Ultimate...
