Not exactly a tech rumor, as this is actually real, but worth a post here I think - BikeYoke has just introduced their new "Cockpit Calculator" (do you have a better name for it?), basically a 3D visualization of how changing your geo and cockpit parameters affect your riding position. It's a pretty neat concept, with a few nice use cases that jump out at us. For example, if you're changing your frame and you want to get as close as possible to your old fit, this could help you figure out exactly what cockpit components you need to get...

With the exception of the covid, every major financial crisis in the US economy in the past 50 years has been directly caused by the Financial Services Sector. They spend oodles of $$ "lobbying" (AKA buying govt policy), to minimize govt oversight. Not foolin us today, Diddy.

The future of long travel enduro bikes is being modular and compatible with dual crown forks to double as park/DH bikes. It makes a ton of sense from a company and manufacturing perspective

I'm surprised it took this long, the move never made sense to me since they were just selling santa cruzs in different colors with maybe a different build kit. The whole idea of bringing women's bikes back never made sense either, bikes are bikes and don't need to be gendered in some way. If Santa cruz just invested in their own image they would have been way ahead.

Remember the show Iron Chef, where the chefs had 60 minutes to whip something up and whatever didn't come out just right had to be served anyway? The mass market also doesn't care about Cues. Walmart bikes (ozark trail) come with ltwoo and microshift. Specialized and trek offer cues on a select few bikes... maybe start looking into the real cycling market (europe) instead of your narrow american centric view. 80% of my show room is cues

Shop guys pretty regularly see just about any frame on earth broken, and it really doesn't often turn any of us off a brand. The forces bikes see are both pretty dynamic and pretty crazy at times, especially considering how much we expect this premium stuff to weigh. Seeing a broken V-10 doesn't make me want to avoid them, it makes me curious how fuckin' hard the rider was going. The general public does not always understand that stuff does just break. " No one actually cares about cues or whatever, people want shiny fancy shit." That's funny, no one cares about any higher level mtb groupset at all when it comes to the mass market. Cues, 105, Deore and untiered groups sales are what allows Shimano do some cute sidequests like XTR, DuraAce or Saint.
