1/2/2026 1:21am Gap between stumpjumper 15 and enduro? Between more than capable trail bike and an enduro bike? Didn't know there was a gap that needed filling.

1/2/2026 1:18am Same here, everybody around me prefers to ride an enduro bike even when a trail bike would be faster and more fun. I ride a SB130 that's also overbuilt to piss with DH tires and LR spec stuff and have no problems flying with it to ride parks like Morzine, and never really wished for more travel apart from at the end of the day where arm pump starts to get to you. Everybody thinks I'm crazy for doing it but if you take the time to set it up properly with enough support etc it can hit anything fine...

1/2/2026 1:05am Nah man. I need that 170mm coil sprung enduro sled with DH casing tires and inserts for my local blue trail.. I've been wondering what the next big move could be for bicycles of the mountain. Like what transition did with "SBG". These days, a 140mm bike is so good it's kind of silly to be pedaling a 170mm bike around the local, unless you're in BC or something similar. EWS is dying a slow death and that's what bred a lot of the 160-170mm category bikes (and components). It's looking like the all mountain category is absorbing the enduro...

12/30/2025 9:55am FWIW, my Modus operandi is to point the seat towards the bars. Then it's just a question of the relative height of one vs. the other.

12/27/2025 8:52am Brother, its probably just a simple mistake - sure its a little confusing but its not like there isn't a clear and blindingly obvious pathway for you to purchase a shock if thats what you genuinely are trying to do. It's probably not been a major problem for anyone else, and there might be something in the backend that makes it a little harder to simply turn off - I know that is normally built in to the payment/shopping platform but don't run a webstore so not sure. There are sometimes products that don't have an obvious answer for how...

12/27/2025 8:31am Alrighty.....so, for starters the Telum is a premium product that anyone who buys it will EXPECT nothing but perfect performance, reliability and support from the manufacturer and supplier. No one is creaming it in the bike industry, especially mechanics and things are normally priced in line with global recommended retails set by the manufacturer. If they tried to mark things up too far it won't last very long for them..... There are certain brands I sell which I invest thousands in tooling, parts and springs for and know every single part inside out, so if a rider has a problem...

12/27/2025 8:27am Oh ok sweet as, so you have an issue with them following a completely normal distribution model? Were you planning on shipping it back to canada for a service every time as well? I normally wouldn't engage here but needed to clarify - The european distributors are the ones carrying shocks, parts and tools to make sure you're looked after in a reasonable time frame and the pricing is often dictated by certain things outside of their control. If that makes them too expensive for you then thats cool - you're welcome to get something locally produced if saving money...

12/22/2025 12:31am Putting the new logo onto a fork doesn't help it.. That old logo was so iconic across so many different fields that it just makes no sense to me.. @jeff.brines find the person responsible for this an interview them..

12/16/2025 10:30pm I believe the two "oldest" bikes on the market right now are S Enduro (2020) and Banshee Titan (2019) and they are both still perfectly relevant going into 2026... I'd say Titan became even more popular as the time went by which is pretty funny in modern times but I'd say there are more and more of us who dont really buy into latest trends of blingbling marginal gains and are perfectly happy with a simple, capable, reliable and affordable bike and Banshee ticks all of those.

12/12/2025 3:00am That last thing I want to see is an e-bike from Raaw. With so much turbulence in the industry they're better off just sticking to their core lineup and continuing to refine it. Plenty of other brands to choose from if you're so set on an e-bike.

12/3/2025 10:28am brace yourself... at the end of the year, we're going to lock this thread. while it's been amazing (thank you all!) and fun that we hit 1000 pages and over 7.5m views, this thread is a logistical and technical resource hog. it's also not easy to access older information. while there are a lot of upsides to the ease and convenience of posting to this thread, the downsides are outweighing the ups with it being so massive. please start a NEW thread to the hub for anything that has potential for legitimate discussion. good posts will be homepaged and the...
