I'm sure I'll get hate for this, but I'm not sure a dh race is the place to bring your dog. I've had enough issues with trail dogs (I feel pretty strongly that most dogs shouldn't come along for the ride and aren't as great on the trail as their owners say they are) and not sure massive crowds full of yelling, screaming people is the place to bring your dog.

Needle's argument of "Well pro surfing and golf don't put Junior categories along with the Elites" just doesn't hold an validity to me. DH is unique and it's own exciting event so just stop with the comparisons. F1 is hardly the ideal form of motorsport; corruption (MBS), insane cost, green washing, ruthless team politics, etc.. Hardly a good example to aspire to for such a niche sport propped up by a few independent media and the Youtube feeds of the riders themselves. I'm of the opinion that you can't ride a plus tire aggressively and have it perform well, regardless of inserts. There's a balance between weight, the stability of the casing, the damping of the casing, and the pressure/contact patch. Plus tires are feeble, vague balloons with no stability and regardless of inserts they roll over far too much in corners and are terrifying on off-camber. Add pressure and they're bouncy/underdamped, unpredictable, and the grip goes to shit. If you make them burly enough to be stable then they're a boat anchor. Some inserts stop a tire completely folding over or...

Hannah Bergemann on a new Transition. Looks to be the same as what was spotted a while ago on a chairlift somewhere. They just "re-did" the TR11 so don't think it's that. We really need an explanation on why they have geoblocked NZ (and Aus?) - as far as I am aware they haven't sold the rights to anyone else in NZ. Makes no sense at all.

Just want to throw praise Finn Iles way after his brillliant response to Wyns questions regarding the WBD broadcast on the wyntv Leogang track walk Video. I personally think Wyn has too much of a negative take generally regarding World Cup racing these days and it shows in his questions - Finns thoughtful response with suggestions to improve the current package without tearing anyone to shreds was great.
