6/24/2026 9:45am While they're saying this is a test, they added the bolt holes for the idler on all production frames. I couldn't figure out what these were for, until today. Makes me think this "concept" is coming sooner than folks are letting on.

6/24/2026 9:45am Gearboxes have always had drag issues. E-bikes have always had drivetrain issues This was inevitable and makes a ton of sense really … Ironically, the newest talaria’s espouse their bad ass gearbox’s too. Pegs or pedals? You choose.

RoJo1 Liked a forum topic Magic Mary Radial vs Assegai: 15 Timed Runs
6/24/2026 3:55am I think this has made my front tyre choice for bike park season pretty easy. I finally tested the Magic Mary Radial Gravity Ultra Soft against the Assegai DoubleDown MaxxGrip. The Mary was much smoother in the rough, had huge braking confidence, and came out 2.86 seconds quicker in my 15-run comparison. What surprised me most is that I do not think it gives anything away in rolling speed either. It was already edging ahead on the smoother, flatter opening section before grip really became a factor. It is going straight onto my DH bike for the season. I just...

6/23/2026 3:34pm Your questions answered! Thanks everyone who asked a question. We did our best to get them all answered, and Specialized was pretty transparent in their response. And oh yeah, the bike rips 🤤 Enjoy!

6/23/2026 3:32pm I’d argue we’re exiting “Chinese clone” territory and entering regular “Chinese product” territory. Mountain biking is growing rapidly over there, soon there will be high level Chinese racers working with Chinese suspension and Chinese frames that they test at Chinese bike parks. As with the Avinox motors we’re getting to a point where the Chinese won’t need to copy western products. The writing is on the wall with BYD imo.

6/22/2026 12:15pm I got my first ride on these today. I'll get more in the coming week I'm sure. I paired them with a grip change to Wolf Tooth's lockon grips. For a little background, I have pretty significant neuropathy problems in both of my arms due to long running Cubital Tunnel syndrome. I've had surgery but the pain still exists when I ride and sometimes it still lingers after. My problems are somewhat the opposite of Joe's, his seem to stem from being highly athletic and having forearm pump, mine stem from sitting behind a computer since I was 8 years...

6/18/2026 12:47pm Hey, let's stay on topic here. This is the UCI 32" rule debate thread. Seriously though, that aluminum hydroforming and construction work looks really clean. It's really hard to tell where the carbon models end and the aluminum ones begin in the website photos.

6/15/2026 5:31am Going to add my opinion that protected riders was f'ing stupid. Ironically an elite bro-club of top teams working to prioritise TV time for their big-bucks athletes at the expense of newer riders and small teams and privateers is exactly what WB and Chris Ball frequently get accused of doing but the worst example was a hangover from the redbull era. Giving people a free ride through quali (and that one year, 2 separate rounds of quali) while others will have to pull the run of their lives just to make the cut, totally changes the dynamic for the haves...

6/14/2026 2:53pm I haven't heard the interview, but maybe he said both as it was post race and only himself and Benoit had made the race ? Scott have been patient with Benoit and Ethan so I would hope its the same for Dak, but yeah a podium would certainly help smooth over any potential upsets !

6/14/2026 2:37am Hottake, The new Q1 and Q2 formats are great and I much prefer it over rider protected status as its probably the most fair way to narrow the field down. Does it mean some really popular riders lose out? Yep. Does it also mean that seasonal consistency is more rewarded in WC overall standing points? Also yes. Seems odd to have both protected riders AND riders trying to qualify all in one group. It's either we lock the field to the same 30 riders for each race or everyone needs to qualify for finals. No offense to riders like Danny...

6/14/2026 1:56am Excuse my French, but could we fucking please stop calling bikes "analog", "acoustic", or -the worst I've heard- "bio"? Bikes are bikes. Ebikes are something else. Now get off my fucking lawn you punks!
