9/16/2025 11:25pm Lenzerheide coming up this week. Last European stop before they head to North America to close out the season. The top 2 spots in both the men's and women's Elite standings are pretty close, with less than 75 points separating 1st and 2nd in each. Goldstone: He's having an epic year, obviously. He won Lenzerheide twice as a Junior and finished 6th in his only race there as an Elite. Bruni: Has 1 win at this track (2018), with 5 podiums in 7 races there. Höll: 2 wins as a Junior, but no wins as Elite in Lenzerheide. Best finish...

9/11/2025 1:12pm Wasn't the Super-Bruni thing a joke a fan came up with a few years ago? I know Loic has said he leans into it for world champs weekend to try to get into an unbeatable headspace. Virtually every interview I have seen of him makes him seem like a good dude. Anyway, before talking up Jackson 4x gold titles etc, I'm seriously wondering if the Alran brothers arn't going to lock down every race next year. All the Commencal elites have been saying they can't believe the speed and lines their juniors are pulling off, and apparently they only get...

9/10/2025 4:00pm Giving up his spot to riders like Sam Gale when he could race himself tells you all you need to know about Wyn IMO.

9/8/2025 4:26pm I wonder how many people freaked out when Kaz said something to the effect of, "It's funny when people in the chat refer to Vital as the other site.. Like you can't say their name here.. We don't care if you visit more than one site. In fact, you should. Get another opinion before spending your money..." This was on the podcast within the last few weeks.

9/8/2025 4:22pm I prefer Vital because people are allowed to have different opinions here—most people seem to remember we’re just talking about expensive toys for grownups on this site. I can’t go to pinkbike anymore because of the holier-than-thou attitude on all topics, and if you don’t agree you are treated like a leper. I don’t have extreme opinions by any means, but it feels like I do on PB since everyone’s reaction there is so vitriolic. Thanks for being real, Vital.

9/4/2025 4:43pm Shout out to Fabien Cousine, Ben Walker (New World Disorder fame) aka @buckoW & all the track builders there & the Morgins tracks. Never forget the walking digger & what these folks REALLY accomplished in that region!!!

9/4/2025 3:30pm FWIW all my chats with Orbea this year has been focused around them trying to make a bigger splash in the U.S. and Canada. They've added personnel, and I've been in contact with them about a few things to come in the future. Typically when a brand doesn't plan to sell something in the US, we don't get hit up to be apart of the coverage.

9/4/2025 2:32pm Just listening to the OTB podcast . Rumor from them is that the YT truck got repossessed and the team won't have the funds to make the north American rounds . Pretty rubbish situation all round .

9/3/2025 3:30pm Cool that sram are making a big effort for their athletes but personally I think all the 50/50 colour schemes look terrible. Wasn’t working for Pivot last year, isn’t working for the syndicate or norco this year. Frameworks knocked it out the park with the American chopper video 😂

9/3/2025 3:29pm This might be controversial and I'm not sure how to write this without sounding like I'm stroking off Sram but man they’ve really stepped up for their athletes. The custom brakes and calipers are such a nice touch and make the World Champs bikes feel that much more special. On the flip side, Shimano seems to be sticking with pretty standard (tried and true) Saint groupsets, and some riders are still running the now previous gen XT, XTR, or still current Saint brakes. From an outsiders perspective, it really feels like Sram is the brand you’d want supporting you. Also...
