Just listened to the latest OTB . They have osin to Trek and apparently Trek wanted him to sign in the mid season transfer window but YT wouldn't release him which is pretty rubbish considering they can't or aren't paying him . Makes his own kit purchase protest pretty justified I reckon.

Osin to norco as Danny retires Yt had it pre writen in contracts about riders not getting paid if the team folds - so a little birdy tweeted

Pure speculation, but what about Oisin to Norco? How long were the contracts for the reformed NRD? This was the second season for a lot of them, and if memory serves, Gracey was their only success story this year. They could really use a consistent top 10 male rider.

So far rumors wise for YT riders, Kolb = Scott. Vali = Commencal Les Orres. Have not really seen any rumors for Oisin, he would be a great addition to a team, consistent top 10 rider. Also, what about Jack Moir, he is a great addition for a brand solely for his YouTube, the results are a bonus and when healthy can win any enduro race.

Ok but, forum replies get off topic easily and fill up peoples inbox. This thread is about 2026 team rumors, not YT’s failings, there are plenty of other places for that. And really, you are upset your niche forum replies are not saved for posterity? No one will care in a year. Perfect example of getting off topic, look at us right now…. Anything you want to keep secret should not have any GPS data even recorded at all from your watch/Garmin/phone. Record it as a strength workout with GPS off. I don't trust Strava to even have the data held on their servers even if my ride is private and hidden from the heat map. Every tech company eventually grossly misuses private data and I expect Strava to be no different. (especially after they IPO)

This is good to hear. I remember back in the late 80s, when lots of state offices just went ahead and shut mountain biking down in State Parks. Pennsylvania did this for sure, but I believe it was "a thing" in other states, as well, and in federal lands too. It was a combined effort of horse-back-riders, hikers, and birders, that basic closed access to many areas, and it took a decade before some of that started to roll-back. This woman's "the sky is falling" argument is illogical (it was a ski area already, duh), and out-of-time. In the age...

It’s hard to tell. I know a couple of the course sweepers and they seem to be having fun just lapping, but the process of eking out tenths of seconds that the actual racers have to do might not be as fun. I’m sure wyn’s interviews will shed some light after Q2. I don’t want to distract them when they’re using 110% of their brain power figuring out lines already.

AON riders are going outside (green) and everyone else is either going inside single double (blue) or outside to inside (green to blue). Joe Breeden was the only one to pull a massive double to single on the inside (red). It was insane.

I just have to brag for a sec:

You can tell when Asa, Tyler, or Oli are coming because every single line spotter pulls out their phone. During this B practice, Asa has been by 4 times and was on a different line every time.

I think it’s fine and kind of fun. Not everything needs to be serious. There is plenty of adult sport fan content out there. It’s good there is something for the kids that’s still pretty palatable to me. No worse than a first intermission hockey segment from coatesy or coach.

All weather reports for US races must use Freedom Units only. Many are saying these are the BEST units of measure in the UNIVERSE as I INVENTED them MYSELF. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
