I have created a spreadsheet with rumors on it in an attempt to calculate the points that each team will have going into 2025 and which teams will be world series teams (since this year the rankings are based on rider points). I do not have better info than anyone else, I am simply reading the forums. Building the motors with looser tolerances may exacerbate the noise and resonance of the rattle, but fundamentally the rattle is caused by the chain flailing around and repeatedly engaging the motor clutch. It's somewhat akin to how some wheels will make a lot of noise when you ratchet pedal. Maybe tighter (and higher friction) tolerances would damp the noise more, but the constant and repeated engaging of the clutch is going to happen either way. I'm glad the F60 (which is exclusively on Forestal bikes, but has a family resemblance to Bafang motors...

Let the legal systems sort it out. If it's information that is not meant to be public yet, it won't be. To respect her privacy as well as allow legal systems to follow their course we shouldn't dig. Digging for team rumors and staff/personnel changes are one thing, this is something else. I would be willing to bet we'll know the name at some point anyways.

WB reaches about bringing in outside sponsors, but almost everything they have done has made that less likely to happen. Putting race coverage behind a paywall reduces visibility of MTB, this makes the sport less valuable to sponsors not more. Even if in Europe it is now available on cable tv coverage, that isn't very valuable since the retention rate of viewers was very poor. That means the viewership is almost useless to sponsors. WB has made viewership numbers very difficult to find, the only thing I've seen was a German article months ago. WB has made DH less attractive...

Good point! However it’s also completely immaterial considering the context of what we are discussing. The big point here is KTM bicycles and e bikes have no connection to Pierer Mobility. We are going to make lots of these kinds of mistakes in this thread. It’s a fun discussion with lots of painting with broad strokes and running a little loose. I don’t have time to triple check every source I use. That said I’m always happy to have more eyeballs jump in to steer toward truth and am happy to say “whoops I was wrong” (which I am here!)...
