11/1/2024 1:11pm Isn't Suspension Lab NZ Jonno that stopped posting in the MTBR Suspension Forum after banging his head against the desk 10 thousand times arguing with Dougal?

11/1/2024 1:11pm if @TheSuspensionLabNZ is Dougal, I'm going to eat my helmet. There is no way the same thoughtful, approachable, nice, knowledgable person that posts here is the same knowledgable troll that posts elsewhere.

10/31/2024 12:26pm some things need no explanation and suck despite any „cultural“ context industry 9 did the right thing, this guy has no place on the mtb community do yourself a favor and don’t read the misogynistic cesspit that is the „below threshold“ comment section on the pb article unless you want to voluntarily lose brain cells

10/31/2024 6:10am Looks like he's a slow learner too going by his response to Industry Nine dropping him. Given recent events, without watching the video, without speaking Italian, and without asking me anything about it, I was informed by @industry_nine that our contract ends here. 7 years of collaboration promoting a brand and helping it grow apparently mean nothing! (Too bad because...

10/28/2024 8:15am 24k bikes sold with only 47% sold in NA, this explains why no one are seeing them. Giant sold 6.6 million bikes worldwide in 2017 just to give you an idea.

10/27/2024 1:17pm Shimano motors are falling out of favor because service is king when it comes to e-bikes and Shimano does a terrible job in this regard. Furthermore, they are a bit behind the times regarding noise, power, weight, etc.

10/26/2024 9:44pm I think that narrative is awkward. But it does justify the scoring and placing a bit more. At the end of the day we aren't seeing what these riders would do on Luke or Talus line or whatever. I suppose the answer is, they're not gonna try it (because of the bike). Or at all? Not sure. My narrative both this year and last is Godziek was robbed. Brendog was... Maybe mis-scored but not robbed of a podium. (i wanted to put my moeny where my mouth is and rank, not score, riders... and had him 7th; video is on...

10/26/2024 9:44pm It's already happening in the comments... But unfortunately there is no possible, logical, fathomable way to convince people the judges know what they are doing when Zink wins last year and then TVS gets 4th this year. Meanwhile Godziek probably had the best overall and Rampage-esque run, both years, and didn't win. And then a big slope run from Semenuk can win any year. So, ultimately, if they want to say that which I believe they have ultimately... Then sure a big slope run is the future of Rampage and that's how you win. Copy Semenuk or lose to Semenuk...

10/26/2024 9:42pm The focus of this being the way they wrote the number 4 which is still a bit different and not focused on the caliper itself which is completely different is kind of funny. When are we gonna start talking about what color crayons taste best cause i feel like we are getting pretty close?

10/25/2024 10:37pm Why would brands be swapping away from shimano when you think it was the best? Bosch Always dominates motor showdowns, their gen 4 stuff is great, sure its got a little motor clutch rattle but its reliable, strong & efficient with good firmware/software that, if you never update it, will still be good. thats the bosch life. Those motors were/are underpowerd, unreliable(my 4 in 6 months), noisey, Drains battery awfully quick comapred to others and just a pain overal My LBS Used to get nearly every shimano motor back they sold within a few months with issues - thats why...

10/25/2024 7:10pm When I still owned a bike shop we dealt with Merida's NZ importer a lot. They at the time (2 years ago) had a pile of bike with no motors, they'd been stripped out to get customers going as Shimano NZ could not supply any warranty motors in anything approaching an acceptable timeline. I had a few customers who ended...
