4/19/2024 5:36pm They had a big hand is starting the modern geo wave with the Process line, honestly don't understand why they fell off like they did, because the bikes were a ton of fun.

4/18/2024 10:19am I think the thing that really killed off Pole was their bikes are really ugly, if you are in business to sell things its best to give the consumer what they want. If I'm going to spend that much money on a boutique and unique bike it can't look like someones science project from the 90s. Kona is sad to see. It seemed they had a lack of capital that lead to a lack of reinvestment in design and updates after the push to develop the Process line. I would argue the Process 111 is one of the most influential...

4/18/2024 12:27am I´m still amazed that my Forestal Syrion hit´s above all the competitiors. It´s a 170mm Enduro blaster, as light as the Levo SL has the power of the midpack Fazua and with 350Wh not the least battery capacity. With the exception of the not so light Moterra SL it´s the lowest priced with comparable components (not going to say cheap at 9,7 grand). What´s crazy is, it´s been on the market for 2 years now, and the competition hasn´t caught up. It´s a niché brand though.

4/3/2024 8:19am Can we finally do away with orange lowers on these new fox forks? One of the worst things to happen to mountain biking.

4/3/2024 12:26am A centimeter is a huge difference in reach IMO. If the next generation of my favorite bike grew by 10 mm, I would probably hate the change.

4/3/2024 12:25am I don't really care about in-frame storage and if my local bike shop carried Yeti but not Spesh (which is actually the case), I would happily stick with supporting my LBS over getting a SWAT box.

4/1/2024 2:25am Robert from The Loam Wolf here. I was the one who broke the Scalpel, and I’m not surprised I did - overshot the landing of a large jump for an XC bike, landing in the pocket between the landing and the flat ground after it. Huge bottom out. I corrected Kaz at Pinkbike’s quote - he had flatteringly guessed me to be 190lbs, whereas I am 220lbs. Nothing fishy. I wholeheartedly believe the Scalpel is fit for purpose and that it was my fault! Was having far too much fun and got carried away.
