Seems like we won't have to wait much. I was looking at used Tyee 5 and ignoring the 6 due to the headset routing, this is messing up my plans !

Don't be silly. The bosch motors are far from obsolete, there's a lot of integration and quality of life features that the DJI doesn't have.

x5 or whatever on having to pick before qualies, for all the reasons already stated. I think it's fine to open the picks before the start list is out. With the new rule changes, it's a lot easier to have decent idea of who's actually going to be at the race.

I am usually out riding on race weekends, I will do my picks prior to qualies and never have a chance to change them because I either forget or riding/racing local events. Picking after qualies is easier, you already know who made it to the show. Picking prior to qualies is more fun.

100% agree it should shut before quali. I came 5th overall last season and just waited to see who qualified and based all of my picks on points per dollar if they finished in their quali position for finals. Far more skill in picking riders before quali and adds a lot of jeopardy.

Yeah, those are my thoughts exactly. Picking before Qualies you have to weight the off season and also try to pick up the raiders in top form from the training "raws". After qualies is more of a mathematical equation between budget and points

I think it’s part of doing your own research to build your team. If you are considering a rider then it’s not too hard too look at there socials to see if they are at the race, how they might to do based on past and recent results etc. IF any thing it’s probably more engaging and makes people look into more of the bottom of there team. That does come with the element that riders may not make it past qualies but that’s gambling. Picking after qualies is just looking at who’s running good that weekend and ranking them.

unfortunately, the games would just be too short if we waited for start lists and closed before qualis. you could start a league where the rules are teams made before qualis. it'd have to be an honor system, but you could try.

Unpopular opinion, but I'd rather have the Fantasy close before Qualies, there would be more room for uncertainty and intuition, even a bit of luck . If the selection is done after qualies is more of a mathematical thing

"Privateer" Booker wins on flats on an SC Bronson after taking the final stage. HH wins on belt driven gearbox alum monster of a bike. Fantastic and unbelievably close racing! We need a bike check on both of these bikes.

After watching the recap from day one, it looks like Rudeau switched to a 36, so I guess the answer is that he we wanted a little less travel and a lighter fork. I can’t post the screenshot I took for some reason but you can see it pretty clearly at 14:45 in the recap video. On another note, I’ve been really encouraged by the coverage so far this year! The practice highlights, and particularly the day one recap with interviews at the end of the day, feel like they do a much better job of capturing the vibe of...

0.3 seconds over 48 minutes of racing is 0.01 PERCENT difference in time, that is unbelievable. I cannot wait for the next rounds have in store.

May be, just may be, I’ve already tried to search and if we don’t count Extension Bikes, who have almost all the info regarding their new enduro bike uploaded on their website, all the others don’t have websites or share no additional details in their Instagrams. Think Wissco can be found on some sort of a website, but it’s all in Chinese with no translate option, so it’s as if there’s no website. Seemed only logical to ask the people that were there physically to share something more! Wink Given that some prices are shared under the photos here, while...
