Big thanks to Vital and Sram! Somehow won a round and got a pair of Mavens for it. Forgot to take a photo of them, but (hopefully) heres some footage of me using them as much as possible. Been a big fan of them!

yep, same rad game with great prizes. we're also launching Vital Fantasy Pro which involves cash wagers 🤘 it will be available in select geographic regions only. Fantasy Pro has been running on Vital MX this supercross season already.

i'll drop some official announcements soon with prizes etc , but like last year, the actual games don't turn on until the official start lists for the race are available. we build the games from only riders that are competing. so that usually means the weds afternoon or thursday morning of the race weekend (May 14 or 15 in the case of Poland). games always stay open until after qualifying, so there's plenty of time to set up your picks.

stoked!

@sspomer is there a way to create/set-up a league prior to Thursday?

@sspomer Should it be the top 15 women earning points this year since there are 15 that qualify for finals?

yeah, i need to update points structure on rules sheet. points will match whatever UCI does. thanks for pointing that out

Unpopular opinion, but I'd rather have the Fantasy close before Qualies, there would be more room for uncertainty and  intuition, even a bit of luck . If the selection is done after qualies is more of a mathematical thing

unfortunately, the games would just be too short if we waited for start lists and closed before qualis.

you could start a league where the rules are teams made before qualis. it'd have to be an honor system, but you could try.

I think it’s part of doing your own research to build your team. If you are considering a rider then it’s not too hard too look at there socials to see if they are at the race, how they might to do based on past and recent results etc. IF any thing it’s probably more engaging and makes people look into more of the bottom of there team. That does come with the element that riders may not make it past qualies but that’s gambling.

Picking after qualies is just looking at who’s running good that weekend and ranking them.

Yeah, those are my thoughts exactly. Picking before Qualies you have to weight the off season and also try to pick up the raiders in top form from the training "raws". After qualies is more of a mathematical equation between budget and points

100% agree it should shut before quali. I came 5th overall last season and just waited to see who qualified and based all of my picks on points per dollar if they finished in their quali position for finals. Far more skill in picking riders before quali and adds a lot of jeopardy.

I am usually out riding on race weekends, I will do my picks prior to qualies and never have a chance to change them because I either forget or riding/racing local events.  Picking after qualies is easier, you already know who made it to the show.  Picking prior to qualies is more fun.

x5 or whatever on having to pick before qualies, for all the reasons already stated.  I think it's fine to open the picks before the start list is out.  With the new rule changes, it's a lot easier to have decent idea of who's actually going to be at the race.

Is the format (for the racing) different this year? It's been hard to keep up. I'd heard semis are gone. And qualies are basically... dual qualies with LCQ, but will effectively be 'one' qualifying block on the same day. Ye?

So fantasy will be closed like... Midnight before finals? (or are finals gonna be same day as all qualies?)

1 round of qualifyong for everyone. top 20 elite men and top10 women go through to the final. another qualifying race and top 10 men/top5 women flush out the final.

racing has quali 1 and quali 2 (quali 2 is like an lcq). fantasy ends at 2pm PST on Saturday or 11pm Poland time (after qualis)

re: points - whatever UCI awards, we award. i haven't seen a points structure change but there are 15 Elite women in finals instead of 10 this year. I looked for a 2025 points breakdown and found nothing. if anyone has a link or info, please send it and i'll add to the how-to-play page. rider values  for this race were based off last year points system with an estimation of what Top 15 women points would be.

It would be a huge help if you made a fantasy enduro. It would be great for riders without sponsors and for new riders just starting out. These games provide visibility.
