12/13/2024 4:05am I would LOVE to see what he could do on a propper DH bike and a proper team setup. I always feel bad for him, he got so shafted in 2019.

12/4/2024 2:36pm Agree that Krypto DH casing needs more PSI than a comparable Maxxis DH tire. At my Maxxis pressures they feel unstable and I shared your thoughts about killing a rim. With more pressure they feel kinda stiff and wooden, but even with a stiffer feel they still seem to generate plenty of grip. They're certainly not bad but they're different. As others have noted, durability has been great so far. Maxxis is still the top of the pile for me, but there's a bunch of cool products like the Vee's tested here or the Cannibal. Also excited to try Maxxis'...

12/4/2024 2:35pm Curious to try the new High Roller. Switched to the super soft DH Krypto FRs (front and back) two years ago on both the DH and enduro bike and while grip performance vs. Maxxis' top offerings has been about equal (subjective preference, both excellent), I've found rolling resistance to be slightly better but the wear is massively improved so performance drops off much later plus I'm spending less on tires. Similar pressures as the Assegais they replaced. Lots of good options out there.

12/4/2024 2:32pm I dunno. Maybe I dont push as hard as you two but I am loving the Argotals, even more so than the kryptos. I was affraid that they would be awful on hardpack but not for me. I have not ridden the new HRIIs but my go to tires for a few seasons has been DHR2/Assegai combo and for what I ride i take Argotal front and back over those. Of course talking about the thickest casings and the softest tires, as i hope everyone else is as well

12/4/2024 2:30pm Always appreciate these tests but it would really up the value if the comparison was more apples to apples (ex. Maxxis High Roller vs Continental Argotal vs Schwalbe Shredda).

12/4/2024 2:28pm No surprise to see Vee and E*13 ranked similarly. I think E*13s are made by Vee. Grappler looks very similar to the HPL and the E13 All Terrains look to match the FSX, but interesting to see the subtle differences in performance b/w the two brands.

10/24/2024 8:18am After listening to Vojo mag: lunch time podcast with Alex Rudeau (in French), it appears the first ever enduro world champion is going into 2025 without team support, on his own program. He’s also not planning to race all World Cup races. He tells that most of the edr racers are on same as he is, except a few big names, like Jesse Melamed, that are keeping some team support but at a way smaller scale. And others, like Martin Maes, are turning full downhill. An other point thing discussed is that some top enduro racers are coordinating to pack...

10/24/2024 8:17am Because unlike road cycling, historical there's no rider movement in MTB during the "transfer window". New teams are not finalised until January 15th each year. Therefore most riders contracts (along with marketing commitments) run until Dec 31st or even first week of Jan. So there's your answer

10/24/2024 8:16am I'm pretty sure the fine print was for an elite win. Otherwise Neko would zip tie a gearbox onto asa's bike and split it with him lol

10/1/2024 4:06am Why? Not saying fmd isn’t one of the coolest set ups in the pits nor that her and her dad’s team didn’t grow together. But with the incoming rules it could make a lot of sense for tahnee to move to a team where elite status is guaranteed and maximizes her individual pay and Tony can focus on Kaos and devoloping gale and future young talent.

9/24/2024 10:01am I can't see Peaty being happy with dropping Laurie because of his illness but unless he's found a treatment that works I don't see the condensed schedule next year being doable for him (multiple back to back races). Nina has continued to underperform ( injuries not withstanding) but the lack of a consistent replacement means she is likely to be safe for another year.

3/27/2024 2:33am Yea 10-12 months is pretty standard for Knee ligament repair healing time, assuming everything goes to plan that is. Surgeons have tried to do shorter healing times in the past with more intense rehab exercises but data has shown that they tend to increase failure rates in the graft repairs. The 10-12 month timeline is very well researched and supported for longevity, homeboy is young and has a lot of years ahead of him to come. He just needs to do this right for the first and last time.

3/20/2024 11:52am https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA-FBKQID3Y Made the compilation on my channel where I steal DH footy basically... Worthy to note the winner DIDN'T send the triple. And both Yeti riders seemed to absolutely smash that case as well (Richie's unfilmed sadly), so that's good PR for that bike no doubt. Dan Booker greased it... Legend
