Eh, I have a feeling that two veterans in the sport realize they aren't about to coach each other. Based on how Danny managed on his own with the GT last year via his family in a camper.. Hes probably just looking for a paycheck, a bit of support, and a bike to race. But thats just like, my opinion, man.

I think it was on a downtime podcast where Martin Maes kind of hinted that when he'd signed with Orbea they had promised him a downhill bike within a certain time frame that hadn't materialized . I don't doubt Orbea can make a good DH bike , all their other bikes get pretty good reviews so I don't see why this should be any different.

Frame storage is cool, but it's there only on new and mostly carbon bikes.. And don't think any of them can hold a mobile. Riding with tools in your pocket hurts sooner or later, unless you have shorts with baggy rear pockets like enduras used to have. You can of course stash your tools on a bike for hundreds of dollars, or just buy a pack or hip pack. They are just reasonable. And you can carry an FF looped through the hip pack belt on a climb (especially light one). So no, they are not going anywhere, only those...
