Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
But the formats that WB have introduced have made it a lot harder . In the red bull days you could qualify 60th and finish 20th in the finals and if you did that in 4 or 5 races you'd be top 20 in the rankings without ever being on the live broadcast. I'm not saying that the red bull days were better but I think it's probably going to be a lot harder to be a pro downhill rider in the 30 to 60 rankings than previously.
Blenki might not have had a WC result for a while but he’s winning at something. For better or worse the Warner Bros deal really feels like it’s ushering in the end of a classic era for DH.
Just shows a black screen and ”this video is private”
Was switched to private pretty quickly once it was leaked. Can see it being announced officially on a Tuesday this month.
Could someone post a summary of moves/confirmed rumours so far?
haven‘t seen any info regarding this, but adrien dailly is off lapierre after 9 years.
Kolb on YT confirmed, just received YT email announcement
Posting this again because you may have not seen it.

Anything with a 3 in the confidence column is either confirmed by the team itself or is an extremely strong rumor. Confidence 1 or 2 are lower confidence in the rumor. The second sheet has a list of the teams that can be organized to show which teams will be within the top 15.
Frotha on Transition Bikes. Seems like a perfect fit!
Here's the full announcement in all its glory, including non-black screen video 😀

On the spreadsheet theres a lot of reference to MUTN, can someone tell me what thats refering to?
Much appreciated
It refers to the Podcast, Making Up the Numbers. Well worth a listen.
Rheeder continuing to make big changes, announcing the opening of another new mountain bike company of his later this year:
Brett Rheeder off Commencal
shouldn't vali be in front?
I think it’s just because of the welcome, we’ll see if in further posts that happens too or it was just a one time thing
I thought the same but Andi is the new addition. makes sense
What is Jack's status now?
In an unusual move José Borges goes from Enduro to Road!
No! we know Vali and she's the champion but its an announcement for Kolb joining the team (look at the top of the picture) why on earth would they put someone else in front of the actual new person joining the team ?
Ryder Lawrence leaves Intense Factory Racing.
Edit: didn’t realise he’d posted this himself on 26th December… strange that it’s take IFR almost 2 weeks to post about it?
same picture on the website, but no context with kolb joining:
https://www.yt-industries.com/de/world-of-yt/the-yt-mob/
this is the official team picture
I mean, obviously they will try to market/show Kolb as much as possible, since he's the newest recruit. I wouldnt read too much into it.
YT had better figure that out!
Gotta say, that's a terrible bit of photoshopping.
Making up excuses reply included the quote from another post which is the picture that says Kolb is joining the team, I see the front page now but you are replying to the release images saying welcome Kolb
Better luck next time haha
Anyone else think Intense is a bit of a chaotic loose organisation. Seem all over the place. Start a factory team developed a bike with tons of different mules end that team. Start another team think it's not owned by them. Supply MS for a season end that. Now they want a gearbox bike. Hard to keep up.
Who says this was all their decision? Joe Breeden started the new Factiry Team and got that worked out. Without him, I am sure they wouldn’t have had a new IFR. For the MS team, they were a frame supplier. Aside from EF’s surprise win, I would say it was a pretty lackluster year for that team (though Tuhoto represented well in outside events). Perhaps MS was asking for more this year than they could give or, perhaps, MS wanted to go a different direction. Point is, Intense may not have been the one to make that call. The whole bike industry is in shambles, so who could blame any smaller bike company with making agile decisions if they had to. Fact is, they still seem to be supporting racing, which says a lot for a company their size.
