7/6/2023 9:03am Definitely a bummer, but unfortunately, Hardline always claims a few victims. It's almost like it's kinda hard Just too much at stake right meow. On the plus side, Bryceland, Strait, and the return of Gee!

7/6/2023 9:02am I thought he said he was finally having his appendix removed during the break in WC races. With Hardline now being in the middle of the season it seems less attractive for riders in the hunt for the WC races. Risk vs reward is kinda skewed vs in the past when it was at the end of the season.

7/6/2023 9:02am On a positive note, I am loving the explosion of behind the scenes vlogs. By far Ed Masters is my new favorite. He is a treasure. I can't get enough. I wish him a speedy recovery, but I'm guessing the videos will slow up when he is back on the enduro bike.

7/3/2023 12:19pm Play by play commentary was needed for the radio as there was no vison to watch. Rob Warner openly said in his Vital Podcast that he tried to commentate this way in the Freecaster days and Red Bull sent him to commentary school to learn how to let the vision do the talking, leave gaps in the commentary and create a story not just commentate the action. This is all sports are now commentated for TV. Agree that Discovery still have room to improve, but we are comparing them to someone who was commentating for over a decade and this...

7/3/2023 12:18pm It's simple. Discovery didn't do their homework. Hell, we don't even know what places qualifier is leaving the gate. You see the top 30 list once on screen before the race...and then they don't even address what position is leaving the gate, don't have their qualifying time listed & don't announce how many riders are left. They showed a list of the final 10 riders and then you better keep track mentally because nothing on screen and nothing they say tells you who's next. Another annoying thing is that before a racer leaves the gate, they're not announcing their titles...

7/2/2023 1:25pm Imagine trying to do a race run down that track with a drone flying a couple of meters away from your head down some of the super gnarly bits surely that's really distracting

7/2/2023 1:24pm Woke up in time to catch last of men’s semis and finals live. Gonna watch semis sometime this week. Definitely agree that semis and finals is too long for a single sit but it’s going to be a good watch mid week and is so much better than only having a 30 rider finals. those riders who got the short end of the rain stick in finals were able to shine on camera in semis and get points out of the weekend. loic has a rough weekend which leaves the standings wide open. Goldstone and Finn make the most of...

7/2/2023 1:24pm I know it's not new, but God the commentary is horrible. Ric is the lesser of the two evils and has some potential, his voiceover for the last round of Enduro summary was pretty good. Someone really needs to tell Cedric to shut up unless he has something insightful to say. He constantly talks over Ric and ruins what should be intense moments. I couldn't watch semis because the commentary is so bad.

7/2/2023 1:20pm Im a huge fan of the sport and all but damn I feel like a ton of riders are complaining about everything constantly. Complaining about the tracks about the format, even some riders openly complaining about their bikes. I get that they have reasons for complaining especially with all the new changes but damn it gets kind of tiring as a fan watching. They supposedly have this riders union, they need to organize and use that union to try to make some changes. I dont think slight digs on every interview and instagram post is going to help much to...

7/2/2023 1:04pm File the “backsweep” topic right next to the “should your handlebars be the same height as your seat when it’s fully extended” topic. These are not tech rumors. These are subjective, personal preference, opinions based on anecdotal evidence. Enough.

6/28/2023 11:14am Supercross has the whole Alpinestars medical unit which is all tied in with paramedics that can attend to riders on track then transport them if needed to the on site trailer ,this is all done as one cohesive unit working together on the track and in the medical facility on site all trained and working together. The fact that DH has a sort of cobbled together crew of local paramedics and a local contracted doctor is ridiculous. They don't understand the sport and the injuries that come with it and are unfamiliar with one another probably all following different protocols...

6/28/2023 11:12am I don't understand the idea that safety is an all-or-nothing deal. Small things add up. Making thoughtful efforts in the areas surrounding the track where a rider will likely end up in a crash seems like a reasonable ting to do, and won't affect the racing at all. Since crashing is inevitable when people are pushing the limits, doesn't it make sense to lessen consequences of a mistake when there is an easy solution? I also want to make a point about the onsite doctor. Having a full-time doctor with the World Cup that goes to all races and understands...

6/28/2023 11:06am Here is the thing. You are half right. The responsibility for staying upright and putting together a safe run always falls on the rider. But, there is a level of risk mitigation that the organizer need to do. Motorsports of all kinds have track runoffs designed to minimize risk if a racer goes off track. There are inherent risks to riding a MTB at high speed, but that doesn't excuse poor course design. Removing obstacles in the B zone when possible should be done. Pieron might have just gotten unlucky and landed in the wrong spot but he isn't just...

6/28/2023 10:59am Agree 100% on the code comments. Taking the time to bleed them correctly, and then properly bleeding the lever's if/when needed is critical. Regarding the stuck pistons. I find these tools to be immensely helpful on not just sram brakes, but all brakes. I've bought the whole set and it makes it every easy to un-stick, clean and lubricate pistons and bores. You still will need to replace the pistons at some point, but this tool will make that much less frequent. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1220259460/top-loading-brake-bleed-and-pis… Regarding the HD6... I cannot believe they did not do size specific chainstays and the head tube...
