There is definitely an art to it. I'd say second week of January is ideal. I don't think being the last to announce is best. Its like making a mix tape. "You gotta kick it off with a killer, to grab attention (Daprela). Then you have to take it up a notch (Minnaar) but you don't want to blow your wad so you gotta cool it off a notch (all enduro signings). There are a lot of rules."

11/14/2023 1:45pm I don't blame the UCI/WB for this one. The cat got out of the bag when we allowed mopeds on the trails. Just wait until multi-use trails start banning mtb. I'm already hearing grumblings from non-bikers about the "dangerous e-bikes".

Met Robin Williams in my local bike shop while building up my first official DH bike, a yellow/red Intense Uzzi DH. He was wowed & asked about it. Everyone else was in awe of him but I'm off in the head too & we hit it off & just babbled.
