I went back to mountain biking as an adult to fill the time between snowboard seasons, but now I would have a hard time picking between the two. A good snow day in the mountains is amazing, but is so difficult to attain regularly while living in Kansas.

Is it so much the shorts or the bagginess? With how aero concerned downhill is getting I don't think we have to worry about anyone getting their Jnco's caught on their grips.

All products solve a problem... some time that problem is "how do we sell more bikes", lol. Let's consider the Trial bike, probably the most ridden mountain bike. People are looking for something that is going to allow them to pedal up technical trails and not feel like they are risking their life on the way down. This category presents...
Very interesting course. It certainly doesn't feature rock/stump gardens like some of the more infamous courses in the World Cup, but those steep off-camber sections will be a test. It looks like fitness on the pedals may play a factor in the lower section. The compressions through the series of jumps around the road gap look like they will be...

The silver lining is that with less riders racing world cups, more riders will shift to crank works races, which means more Elliot and Rob!

First they killed Westworld and now Downhill!! I have a major bone to pick with Time Warner!! That being said... trying to find a silver lining here: Maybe reducing the UCI World Cups to only factory teams will spur growth in the regional racing ranks. Maybe short tracks and dramatic production pieces will pull in a bigger audience and bring...

Such a huge fan of Clay Porter's movies. His movies were basically on repeat when I was a grom. He also historically has such great sound tracks and it looks like there are some decent bike riders in this film too. Pumped for this one.

You guys know that Greg must be reading this thread too at some point and smiling at the things people assume what they know about him and what they believe he will do, right? This interest in a person alone, stemming from multiple people from across the globe is worth more than a bit, if we talk about marketing. As far as I am concerned, I was lucky enough to cross paths with Greg a few times in this lifetime. First one was at Kaprun 2002, a race I hitchhiked to. I ended up watching the 4-cross qualies with Greg...

What edr needs most is to return to being a destination series with a focus on quality trails, experience, and a serious fitness requirement that served a purpose at the more remote rounds. It’s fine if a couple venues are regulars and a couple a year are at bike parks but what drew riders, media, and fans a like was that it was this pinnacle version of the sport to aspire too. they just keep dumbing it down into something nobody is interested in. And attaching these events to dh is severely limiting their ability to draw riders, have quality...
