You do you. I am happy to ride a regular bike and rides with over 1000m vert on a regular basis and I’m in my mid 40’s. I have ridden with guys in their 80’s that are still sending drops and logging decent miles on a regular bike. Age has nothing to do with it.

Vans have already tried to push into MTB in the early to mid 2010’s. Google “Vans Warner clipless shoe”. I vividly remember D-Riff and Brad Benny running them in the Chumba/Giant Nerd team days.

11/23/2023 12:08pm Perhaps drive down the 15. Stop in St George Ut, then Vegas, if the weather is good hit Sedona, then cruse over to the Phoenix area. Rad riding in all those spots. Stop in shops. Ask about group rides. Buy a tshirt.
