Making fun of anyone's accent is juvenile and pathetic. Do better.

Dunno why, completely unconfirmed, but I have a feeling/hope that MS will be on Zerode in 2024. Kiwi bike, high pivot gearbox.

If my memory serves vaguely right, Taj or Jordi mentioned in a Dialed video that there was gonna be a drop-in upgrade for the Grip Dampener. When they were doing bike checks, Taj mentioned he was running the new dampener. Is it time for an all-new fork design? Even if it was, companies like Fox and SRAM are sitting on...

There is outside money... in Europe... and in XC. Notice how many top XC, mostly Euro, riders have sponsor logos that North American's have never heard of? Obviously, Nino is a bit of an exception, but he has "Corner Card" at the front of his helmet along with numerous others. I've heard he even has a chocolate sponsor. The man...

Haven’t seen this posted anywhere yet, but I came across it on Instagram. Looks like ND Tuned is prototyping a 38mm stanchion fork, with a less than conventional construction of the lowers as well? Anyone know any details?

Not so much anymore, unfortunately. Things were done and said and the result is a change of scenerey. The question now is how much SRAM will be on the IFR bikes and whether it'll stop at the suspension.

All contracts are structured that way. 100% sponsor the team to wear their products. A rider not complying puts the team in breach of contract and so they cannot let it happen. My take- Kades deal with Trek was always based on exposure not results. Could he be a top 10 guy-absobloodylutely. But he knows how much work and dedication it takes (he sees how much work Tahnee does) and tbh he much prefers dicking about on his bmx/trials/ebike than going to the gym 5 days a week (because he told me). Trek were ok with this but maybe this...

Not wearing sponsor-appropriate gear is a huge no-no. Amateurs in many sports get dropped for this kind of stuff, imagine how mad brands feel when a high-profile pro gets caught. It's a much bigger deal than many think it is. Some contracts will even fine the parties involved for this. Team Sharpie tires won't get you in trouble if the...

Obviously, it depends on the contract, but I'd put better odds on there being zero leniency for him not being on/in the right equipment anywhere at a race site. As it's been said, TFR has a lot of resources, so getting a sponsor-correct helmet probably wouldn't have been that hard with their obligation to 100%. Redbull was "probably" but definitely...

Exactly. It's as if I mentioned this before but was shot down by people wanting to believe that Gwin was helping out a fellow American. Dak's contract is far from great, IFR had all the leverage because of his bad luck with the YT timing and they really took advantage of it. People may not want to believe it, but...

since there have been so many racers back-to-back, the normal pit bits get kind of repetitive, plus we had lawlor's pit bits video. we've focused on privateer life w/ jack rice at snowshoe. that feature will land monday or tuesday. i have some audio about this that will go up soon too.

Interesting... I've heard that Asia is in the UCI's sights, but not where most people would think, and not till 2025. Wonder if that timeline's been accelerated. Snowshoe has the XC Marathon World Champs apparently. Sadly, the talk around the pits was that Snowshoe wasn't gonna be on the calendar for 2024. That's a real bummer cause we really need...
The derailleur plug-in already exists, but they're so hush-hush about it. Trek and Scott had them on some e-bikes. They apparently have a tiny battery to give you 100 or so shifts in the worst of situations. Dropper is going to require quite a redesign and space is already at a premium at the bottom of a dropper. From what...

Nukeproof Neutron's have been pretty solid for me. If you keep an eye on CRC, you can get them ridiculously cheap during sales. I went to buy some pins and other spares a while back and they were on sale for I think between $18-30 depending on the color. I ended up with an extra set as it was cheaper...

Dak deserves to be on a better program. It's a shame that he's doing so well as teams are preparing to fold and companies are cutting back. IFR and his deal with them isn't what people think. Wasn't his signing with the team sort of a last-minute kind of thing too? That should tell you a bit about who had...
If you watch the Fox Dialed with the bike checks, they actually say the name a few times. Taj also said the name of a new fork dampener that's supposed to come out in 2024. Had it written down somewhere and already lost it. Watch Taj's bike check at the beginning to get the name

To be fair, the Outside buyout enabled them to hire Ben Cathro and a bunch of other pro racers and eventually set up a full-time pro-level racing team, which is possibly the coolest thing any MTB media has done in the last couple of years.

More than likely just a coincidence. NSMB review was most likely scheduled well in advance. Yoann's news was probably in discussion or fairly sudden. Definitely sucks to see, but hopefully, he gets the support he deserves
