Needle's argument of "Well pro surfing and golf don't put Junior categories along with the Elites" just doesn't hold an validity to me. DH is unique and it's own exciting event so just stop with the comparisons. F1 is hardly the ideal form of motorsport; corruption (MBS), insane cost, green washing, ruthless team politics, etc.. Hardly a good example to aspire to for such a niche sport propped up by a few independent media and the Youtube feeds of the riders themselves. I get trying to increase exposure, but gutting the sport to get to 1hr broadcast package for corporate...

Question for the Boxxer people: does this look normal, or is Luca Shaw running some sort of added chamber on the top of his spring side stanchion? Picture comes from a bike check post on Luca's Canyon Sender from the other site. Looks like it could be an added volume cap for the positive air chamber, like the MRP Noken or Ratio Flux Cap we tested on Vital.

Finn Iles winning Mont-Sainte-Anne in 2022, the last racer down the hill that day. He won despite his chain coming off during the race, and yet his win was laden with so much more importance and emotional content due to the context. This video is among my favorites, partly because Eliot Jackson was the perfect narrator for the review of the day's races. (The part about Finn's race begins at 10:43, but the entire video is, I think, well worth watching.)

E-bikes and relatively low power lightweight electric motorcycles will be the main transportation method for large parts of the world. Imagine replacing every 2 stroke engine in a Vietnamese city with something clean. Once the tech is affordable enough it would mean a massive improvement in air quality and noise. So what’s a niche or recreational market in some places can be the norm in others.

So it seems that WBD are unsatisfied with the number of fans they managed to piss off yesterday with the Q2 no show. Lets bring the numbers up today by scrapping the junior women's race coverage without a word of explanation. Edit. Blimey, UCI Whoop put a message in the chat box saying both races will be uploaded to the channel and apologies for the inconvenience. Well that's a first.

Bad news for Di2 curious 11-speed LinkGlide lovers like you. This is a clarification about 12-speed vs. 11-speed XTR rear derailleurs, added to the XTR article after we published it due to questions from readers about 11-speed Linkglide options and clarification at Big Blue. Basically, no you can't use a normal M9250 battery-operated Di2 derailleur on a LinkGlide setup, only the M9260 derailleur that hardwires into e-bikes: " The M9250 wireless derailleur is available for 12-speed Hyperglide+ drivetrains only, but can be used on normal bikes or e-bikes. As someone who took part in a flexstay design project, I can confirm that: - The spring force of the flex stay is minimal, relative to the spring force of the shock. As in it barely registers in a meaningful way to the ride quality of the bike. This was measured with instrumentation. The shock tune is all that matters here. - We benchmarked the 2021 Epic EVO when we began our 2025 Rocky Mountain Element project, and yes that EVO frame rides stiff.
