yes. i deleted because they asked. edit - further clarification - it's embargoed material that some brand, shop or media "hero" is putting on the internet. if shimano doesn't their images on vital and asks for it to be removed, i'll oblige. i would do this for any brand in the same situation. i don't control other websites the material may land on. if it was spotted out in the wild or posted on a site in error to be freely seen, well that's an entirely different situation.

IMO it doesn't come down to shimano (or any brand launching a product) being the problem in this case. they have a launch coming up (they said, june 5). they have to get their product and info in the right places before the launch. it's a kook or two at these places (OE, shops, brands, media, who knows) who are posting things they don't have a right to post. if shimano asks vital to remove stuff but not other outlets, it must mean our viewers are actually important 🤣

Hey guys, I just came across this. Not a new product but an ingenious way to get handlebars perfectly aligned.

Just tried a GX shifter on a 90 group set. Works awesome only downside is that when you try the multi shift it gets hung up on the 52th. But indexing is perfect. So you could run an X01 shifter with 90 for a crisper feel. It would work flawlessly with an e-bike X01 as it is limited to two shifts at a time.

Sounds like a great trend. Pedal circles and don’t mash your pedals, use a lock out, or go with Neo. No need to sacrifice suspension performance on a long travel bike.

edit because of time zones: June 5th in Japan = June 4th in USA Shimano just publicly announced that they're opening the kimono on Jun 5th.

I believe the pinkbike reviewer said he was pleasantly surprised by how well it pedalled despite the numbers, and that it didn't necessarily need the electronics on the shock to work. I'm sure a regular pedal/climb switch would deal with it rather well.

They're just copying srams retarded decision to tuck the hoses up against the bars as though we're all roadies that are going to integrate them into our bars and headsets. I thought we'd effectively communicated to manufacturers that we didn't want that shit but Shimano is late to the party and has misread their customers once again. So now we get more cable rub and noise from both the major brands, unless you're a weirdo who buys Scott I guess. Gives everyone else a little more motivation to explore other options.

Some def Unno touches to the ID, but all in all a way better looking chassis. If this language carries over to the Occam LT and it loses the headset routing, colour me piqued.

Differing opinions are welcome, but I've studied the reviews a lot and when you dig deep down, I just think the Bosch is a more compelling product. It seems to have better power application, notably better battery efficiency (which effectively negates the DJI 1# weight advantage), less obtrusive noise, better warranty and aftermarket support, chainring protection, etc. Then you add in the CX-R improvements (i.e. auto shifting, hard wired shifter, lighter motor, etc.) and it's quite an impressive package. The DJI still rules in terms of fit and finish into the frame and outright power production, and probably the screen...

That's a hilarious take, and it would be PEAK Specialized if true - taking the gates prize on a technicality with a bike that has a chain and derailleur is up there with suing a cafe.
