Finally! A proper electronic DH rear derailleur. I've been wondering when we'd be able to pay $1500 to ruin three derailleurs on the same rock in one race weekend. Can't come fast enough.

For inverted forks I clamp the stanchions in the bike stand and remove the bike.

Which is exactly the sticker they'd put on it if they wanted to deceive us about the real stanchion size...

I guess it depends, personally, no, I love the radials, they feel better than anything else, they grip more, on rocks, roots, loose, hard pack, and they’re just insane on off camber roots, that’s where they really impress me.

The non-vpp e bike was in the works years ago. They realized vpp with a shock tunnel, battery and motor basically impossible to get a good frame package (long seat post insertion, water bottle etc)

I want to hate The trek but it looks really good - The amount of options and adjustability I think is a win for the consumer, especially those who want a shortish travel bike but dont want a DH/super enduro when they decide to do the odd park day. and in NZ it's cheaper than gen 6.
