Been thinking about a 3D printed version of this for the past few weeks now and the solution with cuttable gromets is really, really good and adjustable. Probably a lot better than using an O-ring
I have had mine for a month or two now and from what I heard he tried a few versions and his setup with the custom cut grommets is pretty impressive! Fits right into my Message and isn’t going anywhere unless I pull it out to use it. He done good!!😂. And help the guy out!! Don’t steal IP please. 🙏

Many companies are trying to get away from DOT and other chemicals due to EU regulations. I believe that is one of the factors in SRAM switching to mineral oil.

I had assumed that it was easier to package the twin tube base valve / adjusters that way, but with the DVO shocks and new Fox Float/DH X2s going sideways I'd guess it's just a packaging / frame fitment decision.

I believe the pinkbike reviewer said he was pleasantly surprised by how well it pedalled despite the numbers, and that it didn't necessarily need the electronics on the shock to work. I'm sure a regular pedal/climb switch would deal with it rather well.

Sounds like a great trend. Pedal circles and don’t mash your pedals, use a lock out, or go with Neo. No need to sacrifice suspension performance on a long travel bike.

The "booster" looks like what you would see in a moto spring perch. Which typically controls the low bath fluid flow. I would be super interested in how it works on an MTB fork. I am surprised that something like this hasnt come sooner but there isn't much volume to play with on here. These might be really nice with a coil fork and messing with oil volume heights.

Kudos to Ohlins for simple no nonsense evolution of an already great suspension based on rider feedback. Tried and true TTX18 damper that just works and is easy to service. This is refreshing in a sea of flashy marketing crap we have been bombarded with all season. We don't need your butter cups and 17% stiffer generatively designed arches.

low anti squad usually means low rearward axle path (without any idlers involved)
which i dislike.
but antisquat overall i a bit of a weird metric because it's calculation relies on the exact gearing and position of the center of gravity. so it is always a bit of a gamble if the antisquat really works for you as intended
