Maybe like 3-5 discussion, These are expected to be the new 9220 XTR Brake that should be released around june 5th with the new XTR Di2 wireless groupset. Similar design XT M8220 brakeset are rumored to be launched shortly after the XTR M9220.
So far no info/rumors if SLX or Deore might have similar levers update at a later date.
The 8200 brakes [2-piston] are already up for sale on AliExpress. Having the reach adjust inside the lever instead of out front is interesting. I don't see a bite point adjust, but the picture isn't great. Hopefully they're reverse-compatible with current offerings.

New mud guard apparatus for AON racing. I was thinking, could the mud affect a gate more than a chain if it gets thrown on it? (What the guard here seems to be for) A chainring tooth would fairly easy push any mud through the chain link gap, do gates do equally or less efficiently?
There are no gaps in the belt, and I could see if mud is bad enough it could cause belt skipping or even. dropping.

I think someone mentioned earlier that there will be no SLX for the new Shimano stuff. Sad if true.
more power for anyone over 200lbs + some proper bigger rotors, in width and overal size(yes they make a 220 rt66 but its rubbish)
Looks like a bigger rotor gap so hopefully.
Hopefully gone to stainless pistons with an insert so they stay cleaner and dont go all rough with brake dust when your really hard on them, their current seal + piston grip is great an allows them to get alot of retraction(wish more brands were able to get quicker and bigger retraction, assuming they can maintain feel)

I would say the bite point adjustment is visible here at the bottom. I still can't wrap my head around that thick area where the hose connects. It looks just ridiculous, and I'm really curious about the reasoning behind it. Also, what is LV Oil?
They're just copying srams retarded decision to tuck the hoses up against the bars as though we're all roadies that are going to integrate them into our bars and headsets. I thought we'd effectively communicated to manufacturers that we didn't want that shit but Shimano is late to the party and has misread their customers once again.
So now we get more cable rub and noise from both the major brands, unless you're a weirdo who buys Scott I guess. Gives everyone else a little more motivation to explore other options.

Low viscosity?
Finally some better oil from shimano that doesn’t require bleeding every other week?

Great excuse to ride proper brakes, maven excluded you’re not missing out from either brand
Well Shimano levers needed an upgrade, I had long stopped using them. A recent Shagura build pair, made it obvious most of the Shimano problems were from the levers.

LV oil might bei Low viscosity oil like Putoline, to avoid the current problems

Let’s also hope they figure out caliper seals so you don’t get wet pads out of the box 8/10 XTs lately have been a warranty job before even installing them

The design of the cogs and track in the center actually clears mud pretty well.
There's different mud in different places, but the sea to sky mud seems to be much better handled by the belt than a chain. So much that it's getting annoying waiting for my mates with crude bikes when it's wet out and their derailleurs are caked in mud
Shimano oil is not the thinnest but pretty thin, out of mineral oils juicy lubes was the lowest viscosity I found and with very high boiling point too, Danico biotech brake fluid as replacement is close and more eco friendly, easy to get etc. putoline/red line like water are thinner still (and not meant to be used in brakes in the first place ) so hardly a fair comparison.
Myself:- I have a litre bottle of the current shimano fluid and a small bottle of royal blood, they're notably different viscousities when you compare them, but neither are as thin as DOT. If the new shimano fluid is even close to DOT, they're probably on to a winner.

Not too familiar with the calipers, but from far they're not too different to the current ones? At least not as big a change as with the levers? Anyway, I spotted an interesting detail. Does anyone have a clue what the round thingy (blue circle) on the mount could be? Something similar to the crosshair feature on other brakes?

I tried the same tricks earlier today I used with the other pic of this shock, but I cant get the same results, so didnt bother posting it. They probably noticed people could edit the colors, so they made changes to their editing to prevent it.
Quite common when companies release pics like these the first time around, people can figure out what it is by changing some sliders in a photo editing software. Then the next tease they do its almost always "fixed". Maybe someone else who's better than me can lighten the pic up to see what it is.

Maybe they need to add some relief grooves or holes on the cog to help clear the mud...

Shimano oil is already way lower than Magura Royal blood and that green stuff OEMs use sometimes. Are they really going thinner?
Source?

Yeah but it's still freaking ugly
That website looks like it's from 1996, and screams scam to me.
Podium „Fatory“ and the product picture being Asa’s bike with the RAD and prototype stickers on it
lol
Website does look from 1996 yes, but afaik they're pretty legit.
I am sure they posted the fork early by mistake. But we'll probably see bigger sites and reviewers post about this fork in the near future.
They have an instagram page as well, followed by both bikeyoke and ibis - If that makes any difference for you: https://www.instagram.com/gocycle.de/
The website is not the prettiest, but the shop and the support are great
Who is the enhancer?
