They dropped everything.
No new cassettes or chains it seems.
Prices on everything and motive brakes expert kits:

Not sure it has been talked about before but listening to Needles podcast with Sam Blenkinsop and he said Fox was working on a gearbox. Could be an interesting addition to the market.
Revel Bikes has a new Rascal with the mechanical transmission and Motive brakes up now.
That link also have Maven Expert Kits everyone lamented missing out on with the Teal calipers.
is this compatible with the apex 12 speed mechanical shifters?
Please be the same! Specialized have something really interesting going on with the Genie and it's a shame they're only offered in 210x55 with no piggyback, I want one for my bike that currently has an x2 that sounds like it's filled with mac n cheese.
No limit screws or b tension screw… very interested to see how this works
There is a Float X Genie, also limited to Specialized for now.
The Float X Genie already exists (seems to come on some of the eebs)
Even if you couldn't get hold of one, by the looks of the teardown, I don't think there's a reason all of the genie-ish parts couldn't be transferred to a regular Float X in either 210 or 185T shocks.
This is why I’m a Rockshox man despite loving every Fox fork I have the chance to ride.
Mech t-type now on Sram’s website:https://www.sram.com/en/sram/models/gs-90-a1
Three bolt crank t-type chainring now too: https://www.sram.com/en/sram/models/cr-ttyp-dm-a1
Very curious to see the reviews on the mech transmission. Specifically, how much of the “amazing shifting under load” is really due to the firmware rate limiting the shifts, vs the actual cassette design (Ofc if the system prevents you from dumping gears in a bad place or otherwise shifting like an idiot then the shifting will appear to be better…).
Also more curiosity than ever to try and run the direct mount derailleur with a shimano hyperglide chain and cassette….probably need to swap the jockey wheels but otherwise it should work?
that's smart, since buttercuts were back compatible.... You brand fan boys are the pits of mtb.
The piggyback genies are impossible to get, I tried a few avenues and was told replacements aren’t available. I’ll be interested if these ever come to the aftermarket.
Has anyone heard anything more about the SRAM "IT issue"?
My X0 T-Type mech died (second one) and LBS said they have a box of them for warranty but that SRAM can't process any warranties because their B2B portal is having "IT issues" and has been inaccesible for ~a week. Reps can't log in to their computers, phone system doesn't work etc.

It looks like its slowly getting back online. I can finally access and see my suspension in the trailhead app.
To give them credit, it sounds like the new air spring shafts will be backward compatible, albeit only in 150 and 160mm travel lengths. I got all my predictions about the new 36 wrong. 😱
$600 for all that is a screaming deal.
Guinea pig it for us! Would be a great setup to have a durable rebuildable T-type derailleur without having to drop $250 on a SRAM cassette (even though it is cool they'll sell you replacements of the gears that wear out for $50) No messing around swapping chainrings for changing the chainline from 52 to 55 either.

We didn't get parts in time to get any on-trail impressions. Hoping to get a Motive review out in 6 weeks or so. No pad contact adjustment is a bummer IMO.
I've setup an Eagle 90 groupset, which was pretty easy and wild not having any adjustments other than cable tension. Unlike AXS Transmission, there is no lag when shifting. You push a paddle on the shifter, and once cable tension is released or pulled, the chain starts moving. On that note, the downshift paddle feels pretty tight and takes some effort to move.
As someone mentioned above, I'll be curious to see how it handles smashing gears since it doesn't pause and wait for shift ramps like AXS. From pedaling around my street, changing gears has a very similar crisp, tight feel to AXS Transmission. Now to swap to some lighter X0 cranks to drop some weight
I feel like this is also very worth to mention. The new crankset comes in a bunch of different lengths, and is very reasonably priced. Instead of buying some aftermarket €500-1000 crankset, here you get both a chainring and a crankset with built in bash guards for sub €200 euros.
Might even be good for people or shops to buy, and just let people run them as test cranks in the shorter lengths.

Edit: Forgot to even check, the Eagle 70 crankset is just about €100, available in the same lengths, with a chainring. Seems like actually a VERY good value for money.

Is it single gear pull only or can you pull multiple gears?
As for contact point adjustment, Level brakes never had it. Not sure where Motive slots in, but it seemed G2 brakes were dying a slow death anyway and were being replaced by Level.
@Etney not much difference to Eagle GX, NX and SX cranks offer, length and price wise. And construction wise.
so with all these new released sram mineral oil brakes out now, turns out i was kinda right, take that doubters
Seatpost release date sometime in april confirmed by guykestv - See text on the post
Downshifting is apparently two gears per sweep, not sure about upshifting. Most likely one per sweep/click because of how transmission works.
According to srams website, GX and NX are available only in 165mm minimum. I can only find "previous gen" Eagle X1 with shorter cranks than that, and then you'll have to get a different chainring since its not transmission compatible afaik. And SX is not available for consumers afaik.
4 new colors
Sounds like Fox is going to approve backwards compatibility
