I personally prefer the tread of the magic Mary since it’s a little more communicative when it starts to slide out. I am a big believer in the radials, but there are definitely weaknesses to the Albert. I am VERY anxiously waiting for that prototype that is in some pics that looks like a HRIII/Butcher/Verdict but is in a radial casing. As soon as it's available I will be buying.

8/5/2025 12:06pm The new high roller isn’t a pure mud tire though, it’s an intermediate tire. If you haven’t ridden it, it’s surprisingly good in hardpack. I’d run it all summer long if you have any dusty conditions on your local trails. Probably more of a tire chat thing though.

7/8/2025 9:32am Has anyone run a soft magic Mary radial in the rear yet? Wasn’t super happy with the soft Albert in the rear for loose steep stuff so I switched to a soft tacky Chan which is fine, but I do miss the radials.

XO is way beyond XT and closer to XTR , GX is more compareable to XT from my experience.

Everyone knows the only way to get your bars and levers juuuust right is to adjust them with a rusty multi-tool in the trailhead parking lot while your buddies are waiting on you to start the ride. The more exasperated your friends are, the more precise the alignment.

I moved to eagle 90 from X01. I went with the X0 cassette and after 2 rides I really started to enjoy the new drivetrain. Shifting under load is so nice, there is no need for faster shifting. This thing just works.

It’s an extra 10% braking surface per wheel revolution. If you don’t notice that it’s because you’re nowhere near the limit on the 200s, which is totally fine. Just don’t preach that as gospel when it’s clearly not the case.
