Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,

Well the Brannigan thing seems to be solved.
Also Suntour finally has a 29" Casting :D
@dolface - you are very right, but I wasn't trying to throw shade at any tire brand. Maxxis are the bar since a long time, since they offered tires that were good, affordable and came in an array of options. Hard to mess with that! Of course I would like it that more brands were at the same level of performance and somehow I suspect they are, but a racer's habit probably weighs more than we know. Gwin's Onza tires were appreciated, somehow it didn't work out with Kenda, but maybe it will with Vee Rubber. Not a Gwin fan, but I respect the man and I wish him to return to his A-game, to make it more interesting!
Mx
Also..... Kenda prototype tyres!
I am also looking forward to seeing if my hunch about his bike is true. I saw raised seat stays and a rocker which gives me hope that the new "prototype" frame might "look like a Session", which is a hell of a lot better than what is going on the past few years.
I am hoping that they make it work. I would hate to see Dak suffer, with the heights he is hitting lately, due to a crappy frame design.
I am also hoping that Neko rips it this year on his own frame and program.
That said the greedy gwin guys can all fuck off. The libertards who can’t tell the difference between Floridaman and someone with extremely common and wholesome views that are on the other side of the aisle can fuck off too. (I am extremely progressive In my political views) As well as the ones who can’t seem to grasp that Aaron and John are great friends with a healthy working relationship. I have no issue with someone saying hey I wish Aaron was doing better or kenda is effecting his results, (kenda tires are not top tier) or even hey I’m not that a big fan and rather see so and so on the top step. It’s the attacks on his character and motivations that I find completely ignorant and reflective of some of mankind’s tendency to be shitty toward others.
Cheers!
Gwin just isn't a super personable guy during interviews and such. there's nothing wrong with that, but it's a disadvantage as a public figure. Gee gets kinda tarred with the same brush.
Edit: what i should have made more clear, is that Gwin sometimes comes off as kinda arrogant when getting interviewed and such, but that doesn't really mean anything about his actual personality, the same way that Tippie seemed like great fun back in the day, but was apparently kinda an ass.
This bike check video from Freeride Fiesta shows him on what he calls a “no name frame” but it sure looks like a Sender.
