Dick move? Sure. but to play devil's advocate, the trademark is owned by Fox and Slik is making a profit off of it. If you're making Nike shirts in your basement and selling them online don't you think there'd be a lawyer knocking at your door at some point? As cool as their product is (and yes, it fills a market void), you can't use someone elses logo and make a profit off of it unless you have licensed that right.

Does monster ban other drinks from podium of the Monster Energy Supercross? Redbull gives the world the ability to watch world cup DH, without them the sport would die...so, if there is some controversy about cans of soda on the podium, I don't care, just don't piss them off! haha

I'm hesitant to reply here, as I don't want to put anyone at Vital in a tough spot, but I do want to add my $0.02. I was a former Vital test rider and former ski tester for an entirely different mag. What may be interesting about my point of view is I never was reliant on income from Vital to do much else besides pay for a few parts or pay for part of a bike trip. Hi! As one of the resident reviewers here on Vital I thought I should chime in. The point you raise is of course a valid observation, and at first glance it might seem as though it would be all but impossible to remain impartial when reviewing something that is presented by an advertiser.
