I don't disagree he obviously left, the question is did he leave to get a bigger check somewhere else, or did Mondraker not resign him because they wanted to spend that money on young talent like Clark. The answer to that answers the other questions.

He clearly did not leave by choice. Hope Mondraker forever regrets letting him go.  Really hope he finds a company that will provide him with a great bike that is already "finished" and not another team developing for years just to drop out when the Bike is finally done. But more than that I hope he gets Paid! and I really hope has a great season.

I hope he wins a World Cup DH

Since it’s public now.. Speaking of Frameworks, we have our answer. Off Spank and now with Burgtec.

Also another glimpse at soon to release 40.IMG 7276.png?VersionId=3slOzWjo.jErRpaYs9CL9PAIFuwq8

Neko Mulally to Frameworks? You read it here first.

I'm still shocked at the switch from Spank.  They made the Frameworks saddle.  I guess I'm gonna have to swing by and pick one up before they all get gone.

Such a massive blow to the discipline to have Jack and Jesse both leave. I hate today it but this could be the nail in the coffin for enduro racing at a worlds level

It was already dead.

Watching Jack and Texi together on vlogs was something special, gonna miss it. EDR video content is basically resting on Charlies shoulder now then.

E-bikes were the death of enduro, no one’s buying the bikes anymore so the industry won’t hold it up.

Question is will the same happen to dh bikes and racing, I honestly think it will, but will be more than happy to be wrong

DH is already mostly racing and that won't become electric any time soon. DH teams and bike development is basically marketing budget already.

You must be new to the sport if you think DH bike sales and race team budgets are related. DH racing will be around for a long while yet. And it's already been through plenty of ups and downs. Some bigger than others

F. I was hoping to see him come back to DH. Maybe we’ll get to see him do some Crankworx or maybe even a Hardline.

Highly doubt it, with his injury history in recent years and the commitment that DH requires of you to go fast, maybe some aussie DH races.

We’re not about to rehash the “why enduro failed at the world cup level” discussion are we?

Jacks announcement took a few of us by surprise last night. It's sad that one of the best riders in the world, arguably the most charismatic too is unable to secure a ride for next year and in some ways, coerced into retirement.

I hope he finds a role somewhere, he would be a fantastic "face" of a company. The content would be top level.

Jack is majorly responsible for MTB in Australia spreading so far, his influence on youngsters and his personal approach to grassroots racing that I have seen first hand is commendable. He truly is one of the best humans getting about. There is a saying "never meet your hero's" but Jack is exception. Young kids of MTB in Aus and the community at large can thank Mr Legs for his input to the sport and wish him all the best in the future.

I don't think that he couldn't find a ride, although being an enduro racer doesn't help right now, but he straight up said that he's burned out. It's a grind for those guys.. Training, traveling, and racing pretty much is your life. Jack seems like he needs a mental reset. That being said, he'll be an awesome ambassador for any brand...

Doesn’t his post say he decided to retire from racing before the past season.  That said with no money in enduro there is little point in hanging around

Excited for the next chapter of moi moi tv.  Jack corners like few others.  Looks great on camera.  Hope he finds a good partner to ride for.

Regarding Moi Moi. Kind of hoping he as well as the rest of the enduro people start using the “Trans-X” races to have their own thing for bragging rights.  Kind of what racing used to be in the first place. Don’t know if anyone else noticed, but he seems to have started following Forbidden in the last half of the year or so.

Anyway Jack on a Druid or Dreaddy is a personal pipe dream. Just wish my calves weren’t so fat. I am keeping nosew parches in business during the winter and should probably shave my legs in Sunner. Muwhahaha

Forbidden is distributed by Lusty in Australia based in Jack's home area and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up riding a Forbidden soon.

But they are also the Transition distro over here, so that's equally likely.

No, but that team might be folding as Tegan Cruz is leaving as well.

He saw the writing on the wall before last season started. Knew no teams were going to sign riders going forward for good salaries. He was 'forced' into retirement. If YT offered him another $250k/yr for 3 more years, he'd still continue racing. Just like all these guys and gals that are 'retiring'. ...totally understandable that they don't want to grind and want to 'move on' with their lives when they're only being offered tiny salaries or bro hookups. But that's all that's on the table anymore for Enduro.
