7/5/2022 7:24am If they are testing a proto on Le Pleney they really want it to be seen. I can't think of a less secret place to test!

7/4/2022 6:28am I'm afraid I have to disagree. Our upper stanchion is 26mm (vs 25m for Rerverb, Bike Yoke etc). That gives us plenty of strength to make the longest post on the market without needing the crutch of 34.9mm. It also keeps the weight about a quarter pound lighter.

7/4/2022 6:28am It’s a great post but I do wonder how long they’ll last for heavier guys and slack SA’s. IMO anything over 170mm should be 34.9mm and have a proprietary sized stanchion.

7/4/2022 6:20am No, sorry, I can't take you saying "I kinda like the setup" for the scott's cockpit, and then in the next sentence say "I would like longer bars". With the through-the-headset routing you have no slack in the cables to have longer bars... Otherwise good stuff

7/3/2022 4:12pm I think we can consider this confirmed as there are already ads for the bike on Instagram leading to this post on the German, Austrian and Swiss Trek Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cfdz7vAtit8/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

7/3/2022 4:09pm Anyone here heard any rumors about a new version of the Scott Ransom? As far ahead of the curve as that bike was in 2018, others have now caught up and the Ransom could do with an update IMO. I just hope they don't go full-on integration like they did with the Spark, Spark RC and Patron. Would also be cool if they made the TwinLoc optional.

7/3/2022 4:08pm The biggest innovation for MTBers is that TransX is working on an electronic dropper post. Might finally have a cheap option for wireless droppers. Their regular droppers are quite good and reliable.

6/29/2022 3:50am It would be super cool if they had an alloy chrome/ball burnished finish like the old Zaskar, LTS, RTS. Even a carbon frame in that color would be rad. I wonder if it will be a high pivot? Hopefully not a heavy mofo like the 2020 model was.

6/29/2022 3:50am I wonder if they consider routing the cables through the upper headset bearing a hollistic solution? For me its shithousery and should be punished by being beaten with a pair of vintage z1 bombers.

6/28/2022 2:30am I appreciate the ability of corporate speak to use so many words and still be so vague and meaningless: "By combining our activities in the new structure, we are even better positioned to serve the needs of our customers in the bicycle industry." Translation: "We gave Jonas his own desk in the office, a new title, and bumped his pay 20% so he can focus on bikes instead of doing bikes and lawnmowers."

6/20/2022 8:17am I wonder if Atherton's have anything to do with this bike? Looks like they are maybe providing the proto parts/bike for spesh? IMO, Atherton's Manufacturing lets them easily prototype parts in-house so could be more of this from more brands in the future?
