Last year, we tested the Armour Lite back protector from Bluegrass with good results. Continuing to search for something even more comfortable and minimalistic, the company has just launched the new Seamless series of back protectors, so we thought we should give one of those a spin too. We reviewed it in the May 2021 episode of our Gear Show, you can jump ahead to 5:37 in the video below to see it in action, or keep reading if you prefer that format. 6’4”, Megatower XXL (665mm stack), settled on 10mm of spacers, a I9 A35 stem (40mm, +6mm of rise), and OneUp bars w/ 35mm of rise. I’ve run 30mm of spacers and ENVE’s 50mm M9 risers, but outside of a few gnarly chutes a more balanced position has felt better. Pretty easy to get long frames these days; really dang hard to get frames with enough stack to match.

Running the Spank Spike 800 Race Riser Bar - 800mm x 50mm Rise x 31.8 Clamp. Nothing special but they feel good and come in a lot of different rises.

I'm 6'3" on a current gen S5 Enduro. I run a 40mm stem, 780 width bar w/ 50mm rise. Have about 25mm of spacers under the stem as well.

Pinkbike did a review that generated a lot of interest, both good and bad, and it was pulled offline (at the behest of Specialized?) as it had several issues, including that they didn’t seem to know if they were reviewing the 140 or 160 and if it was a mullet. Honestly it seems like the perfect bike for Vital, more about having fun on a more realistic budget. The problem is Specialized decided to do this weird gorilla marketing campaign and ended up with a soft launch of a new brand that pretty much fell flat.

It’s heavy and has a fair amount of pedal bob in the parking lot.

Thank you! Yeah, stock Saint Derailleur takes originally max 11-36 cassette. I was lucky enough to find one OneUp Rad Cage from Finland ( its discontinued product i think ), so derailleur works now with 11-42 cassette. After couple of first rides im in love with the drivetrain, 10 speed is enough for me in Enduro use and it works amazingly well!

After living in chronic pain for over a decade and losing the ability to walk without limping...I strongly encourage DH racers to consider an alternative state of mind. Once upon a time I was in that head space and it backfired -- horribly.
