Seems like it’s always mentioned which is good but I can’t believe how many people won’t even stop and move a small branch/medium size branch off a trail. Pretty embarrassing when you see how many riders use the trails and how few are willing to even give 2-3 mins of time.

My resume would read; just over 200lbs in riding gear, rides 100+ times a year on single track, has dented or broken every alloy rim I’ve owned on the last several bikes. Doesn’t matter if oem or custom. Also break rear hubs, dropper posts, pedal bearings and rear tires. I’m really good at getting Fox csu to creak. This is while trying to ride semi cautiously as I have two young kids at home...

Irony at the end being that privateers would have the hardest time affording Roll Offs for their goggles if they did away with Tear Offs. Fantastic article none the less.

Seems like valid points. It would be interesting to hear why the UCI though these changes were needed. Was the reduced riders in response to one of the races where all the top riders got caught in bad weather?

That’s what the bull does. Spend a bunch of money in some extreme sport and then get into a position to dictate terms. The fact that their media house is who we have to rely on for race coverage sucks to no end. The fact that the uci let them in tells you everything you need to know about the uci and their feelings towards dh.
