10/3/2025 7:30am Love that Forbiddens latest email pays true homage to the Crab link: "Still wondering what the f**** weāre on about with all the crab stuff? A theory exists called Carcinisation wherein all non-crab crustaceans evolve a crab-like body plan. A very clever Vital MTB user noticed how many mountain bikes brands had evolved towards the same form and linkage lay out. He declared that this new evolution of bike layouts be named the crab link. And many pages of crab jokes followed. Itās an obscure and very inside joke. But hey, now youāre in on it too." Trend setters we...

9/28/2025 4:54am We've been using 170mm airshafts in our 36's and wish They made the new glidecore in 170mm for the 36 as i really like the new airshaft(when we are running 150/160) I've had no issues running 36's in 170mm and saves a good chunk of weight over a 38. It's been great recently swapping between 150-160-170 on the new Fuel - while trying different setups. Side note: the new fuel Shouldnt be that good for a 145mm bike. It's really good.

9/27/2025 6:53pm I agree, I hope Dak stays on a bigger team. It feels like all the testing, time in Europe and having a race engineer on Mondraker have gotten him super close to the top. Not that he couldnāt absolutely smash it on a smaller team, but with the right team more support is more support.

9/27/2025 3:49pm It seems like FW has had DMaples in their sites for a while, Dak to Gwin Racing and Maples to FW just seem really fitting for some reason.

9/25/2025 6:16pm It always hurts my brain when groups discuss environmental conservation and limiting erosion etc at a SKI RESORT. They already allowed the bulldozing of the runs and thereās 6 months of noise and vibrations from the lifts turning and skier use. I get trying to minimize impact but to me the ski resort has already been significantly compromised in terms of environmental damage.

9/25/2025 8:54am More info about WC DH in that one article than in a monthās worth of MTB media. Nice find! I love that one of the environmental terrors is named Walden. Get your permits! āSo weāre dealing with our (alleged) history of being lax with the rules and a motivated environmental groupā¦should we make sure itās all on the up and up? Signed in triplicate? Nahhhhh dude pile up some doubles and Iāll start working on these berms in the trees!ā Non-zero chance this gets canceled?

9/23/2025 12:13pm Ben Cathro on PB got it right. When he went to sprint out of the gate he twisted his bars to the right trying to get a strong start and his wheel was to far to the right and collided with the pole. It was a costly mistake but will be learned from and will get better.

9/22/2025 7:24am Can we move on from 1 personality joke from over a year ago. Let's talk about the crappiest part of the entire weekend. Hate it for Pinky to tag the anti-HardLine start pole. I've always been of the opinion the start should have a solid wall on both sides of the rider to prevent any "catching" of equipment/gear/clothing & that nub proves my point. It should be at minimum an aluminum/wood half wall to funnel/graze & not chance a bike/gear/clothing snagging it. I think back to the crap way Shaun Palmer lost SkierCross at the X Games catching a tip...
