Big fan of bolt on drop outs for rear center options, every frame needs them. Tweak the front end a bit to allow for a 29" front wheel and that's the latest Spire crab shell as well. The dropouts could easily allow for swapping between 27.5 and 29 rear wheels which is the main thing the current Spire lacks.

I believe this is the thesis for growing Monster Pro Downhill. With drastically restricted seats in UCI we'll see talent come back to the national level. With the payouts in USDH they are hoping it attracts high level racers.

The family that owns Thunder has a son that, at least when I worked there, wasone of the top 10 earners in the “clean energy” hedge fund space. Like some of my favorite southeastern bikeparks, Thunder is a wealth management scheme. Their goal is to either lose x amount of money every year or break even, thus reducing the tax liabilities for the owners.

If enough high profile riders can't get a factory ride on a world cup team hopefully the pool of elite riders entering Crankworx will expand to make a more entertaining series and then fans end up with two exciting competitions to follow. If Danny hart and bernard kerr and Reece wilson were riding I'd definitely watch crankworx regularly. Those guys are never again stepping on a world cup podium with the new generation of riders that are comin through. Its possible The top ten next year could consist of entirely under 23s .

That's correct. A wider frame in that area provides much more stiffness. Riding this bike feels like it’s not even an e-bike. Most e-bikes feel a bit flexy there when cornering or pushing hard, which is normal since there’s a big opening with 4 or 6 bolts holding the motor instead of a regular bottom bracket. This bike is very impressive in terms of stiffness and weight balance when jumping, doing manuals, and overall maneuverability and agility.

Trek pretty much started new this season so I would imagine they are all on 2 year contracts minimum. Not sure of Hauser’s situation as recall he wasn’t on the full Trek program at the start of the year. But since we are throwing out scenarios.
